BASED AS FUCK. It means that their legacy goes down as the be all end all of wrestling in north america.

>Rebuilds it even bigger and better

Basado

WWE is being dragged down with the industry, unless you seriously believe that all of those indie shitters doing coordinated gymnastics are what's keeping the business interesting.

Wrestling went from mainstream to niche overnight with the first PPV on the WWE Network. I don't care what anyone says about Nielson ratings collapsing in 2002. Batista went down and POOF, a staple of North American entertainment for 40 years, down the tubes, with its history rewritten. I weep for humanity.

damn this nigga goofy looking

>wrestling was mainstream from the mid 2000s to 2014

did you just wake up from a coma?

Just relax,Take a seat and BREATHE WITH THE SWITCHBLADE

Nice arguments you have there. Great job restating my implication with different wording too. We've got a smart one here.

>wrestling died when WWE forced Daniel Bryan to retire back in 2014
So BASED D-BRY was the GOAT carrying pro wrestling all along

It's not an argument, i asked a question which you did not reply.

Cringe with the simpblade tbhfam

>Becky literally killed all of wrestling
holy fucking based, greatest worker of all time

No, I did not just wake up from a coma. Wrestling was stagnant but not decreasing in popularity until the start of the Cryan era. It receded in certain demographic sectors while acceding in just as many others, even from 97-01 it was like that as those who were actually alive can tell you. The end of WM30 began a more thorough recession of popularity, not due to lameness, but because a vocal minority actively hijacked the sport and the hobby. Thus giving it a truly bad reputation as one of the symbols of society's degeneration, so thorough that the Silverdome imploded on itself TWICE after WM30

WWE isn't going anywhere you guys believe every single article ever made.

>Wrestling was stagnant but not decreasing in popularity until the start of the Cryan era
This is such obvious bullshit that there's no way you actually believe that. And no, there's no argument to be made against such lunacy.

Yeah, you definitely were in a coma and weren't around for when wrestling's popularity took a nosedive for the 13 years prior

It's not bullshit at all. Your confidence reeks of someone who starting watching last year himself but thinks he knows anything about this. Those millions who unlike you were alive and were watching did not just evaporate in thin air when the Invasion story happened and the ratings for the WWE fell to mediocre, though by no means poor levels. Go search "Goldberg 2016 2017" in YouTube then get back to me. And many of those ain't even those aforementioned unevaporated solids. And here I thought I don't go out much. The day-to-day viewership =/= the relevancy or popularity in the strict sense.

Next to YouTube views in general, there's no clearer sign that wrestling did not become irrelevant with that decline of ratings than the fact an alternative came along while it was down called MMA, with all the cheat code tier benefits of being "reeeyal, ahyuck, ahuh huhh" to make it easy pickings and couldn't do the job of ousting it in the mainstream to nearly the same extent as wrestling did to boxing and whatever else was popular in the 60s.

Stop pretending to be illiterate when you're just retarded. Saying "I don't care what anyone says, it happened overnight" at the start means I'm fully aware of the nosedive over the previous years. 13 years, again, your Wikipedia scholarship is showing. The average person's view of wrestling did not take a nosedive with the Invasion period's ratings.

Give it time

didn’t read lol
