Very different feel in the promotion. STARDOM is more about hatred, fully unloading the emotion within the match. TJPW is still friends having fun with each other, some women are maybe heels in some matches, but not really, because they all want to be cheered. And that makes Sakisama so good. Because she is genuine heel on a roster full of smiling wrestlers.

TJPW's strength is in it's accessibility, because everyone has a gimmick and a unique style of wrestling. Every single person on the roster is interesting for some reason or other, so when they hit the peaks, it's a much more satisfying fan experience.

TJPW has cuter girls with more vivid characters and cartoonish gimmicks than Stardom. The workrate is generally not as fast paced and dangerous like Stardom. It's a much more relaxed and visual promotion.
Also as you can see from other posters, TJPW is much more "cute" and playful. Yes, STARDOM has "idols" and cute girls, but when the match happens, they turn on the switch and try to go as hard and fast they can. So in the end the promotion feels a lot different. The way they tell stories is a lot different. The reason why you invest in the promotion, characters that inhabit it and stories happening inside the ring is different. For me? If I want to have a fun, relaxing afternoon, I put on TJPW, if I want more of an exciting, something that hits higher emotional highs, STARDOM it is. But both are good in their own right.
In a different way. I really am not able to explain that.there are highs with TJPW, but they come as a reward for longer story. STARDOM on the other hand offers more emotions in the body of the match. For me it is thanks to bigger gaps between characters. TJPW characters are all friends. Lot of STARDOM characters at one or the other HATED someone else. And you can feel the hatred in their matches

TJPW aren't out in the fields helping their local community and doing goodwill work or being really part of their local community. training is also different, shooter aspect is not really a thing for TJPW. They push more for visual impact and not the tough wrestler thing.

Cleared my TJPW backlog (4/5~4/6). Fine shows, there was only one noteworthy match for me and that was the main event of 4/6. It was perhaps the best match so far involving Pom Harajuku, and that's mostly by virtue of Pom getting in her signature spots without error and generally being on the receiving end of offense. Nodoka's performance was quite good, and I liked the full nelson sequence from Yuki on Mizuki. [3.5] Didn't watch the Pipi graduation. Love Pipi, but comedic retirement matches aren't my thing. Plus, the match failed to pique my interest in the first couple of seconds and it is a 33 minute match. Think I got the gist of it from the pictures I've seen on twitter. Also rewatched the 4/13 Shinkiba because it didn't have my full attention the first time around. Solid show with no standouts.
I'm not especially excited, but I expect it to be a great show. I expect nothing less than a classic from Miyu-Shoko. Aja can work a 3.5 bout with virtually anyone. She may not be able to go physicality like she used to, but she has those veteran instincts, a keen sense of timing. Combine that with Ito's fighting spirit and crowd connection and there's lots of promise. The tag title match looks interesting. I'm also intrigued by the recent imports and how they will perform during their tenure.
