>“I think you’re a little bit confused about your role in life here. You’re going to get to go to WrestleMania, but the fact is, Booker … somebody like you doesn’t get to be a world champion. People like you don’t deserve it. That’s reserved for people like me. That’s where the confusion is. You’re not here to be a competitor. You’re here to be an entertainer. That’s what you do. You entertain people. Hell, you entertain me all the time. Go ahead, do a little dance for me. Go ahead. Give me one of those Spinaroonies. Entertain me. That’s your job. Don’t be embarrassed. You’re here to make people like me laugh. With your nappy hair and your ‘suckas.’ Hell, I was laughing all week long after you won that battle royal.”

This is by far the most absolute based promo Haitch has ever delivered
That's quite based when you know what he really meant
All racism aside, Booker T truly should've won this match
SOS
he really shouldn't, the money was with Goldberg vs a heel Hunter
DEM BLACK BOYS SEETHIN
What, 6 months later in a multi-man clusterfuck where the heel goes over? Fuck off Paul.
They were building it for Summerslam, then decided to do the chamber because Hunter got hurt and then they worked together the whole fall. Try harder
is that the look he gives to the bull?
All racism and memes aside, Triple Bitch should've never won another match in his life.
clueless nigger
>they worked together the whole fall
and didn't draw a dime
wtf are u talking about, goldberg/hunter was the best drawing program that years:
Summerslam 2003: 465,000 - Chamber with Goldberg/Hunter as focal point
Unforgiven 2003: 360,000 - Goldberg vs HHH
Survivor Series 2003: 450,000 - Goldberg vs HHH again
based
nigga owned
>heel Hunter going over at Mania again
no
nigga just read this, you've already been btfo
Retard, it's fake. Booker could've won at Mania, where the babyfaces ought to win, and then dropped it shortly after to do the HHH/Goldberg program. They wouldn't have lost a single buy because of it.
No he couldn't, it would cheapen Hunter like crazy to job to a midcarder right before working a monster
So you wanted him to get the affirmative action push? hahahaha
lol I'm sure Hunter could get his heat back, that's all he's ever done from 1999/2000.
It was the natural conclusion to the story faggot
Why? Should Eugene have beat him as well because "it was the natural disney conclusion?
How he managed to convince Vince that burying Booker t AND retaining the title is the right decision is beyond me. Would love to see the alternate timeline where he never got into wrestling. Dude has ruined a good amount of matches, pushes and angles.
t.another butthurt blackie boy - i've already shown it was the right business decision
Someone should show these to one of those mega sjw news sites and watch all the "What did WWE star HHH mean by these horribly insensitive comments from more than a decade ago?"
I didn't know Booker T and Eugene were slotted in the same spot on the card. I guess after Hunter beat him and turned him into another geek, they were.
Idk whats worse what he did to Booker T or what he did to Sting. I mean he cheated to beat Sting and then had the audacity to make him shake his hand and be like "Wow HHH you are so much better than i will ever be!!" Pauls ego and insecurity knows no bounds.
Booker T had been pushed as a comedy midcarder for like a year before and randomly got the match in a battle royal a few weeks before mania
Cool, so he storyline earned a match, was buried six feet under going into the match, and was ultimately proven wrong by the hated heel on the biggest show with a finish that made him look like the biggest geek imaginable. Nice booking, Paul.
I'm not a paul mark, I'm just telling you it wouldve hurt business to give Booker the belt. The match obviously shouldn't have happened, but Hunter was holding out for a bigger match at Mania but Goldberg got in after Mania and Rock/Austin decided to work each other instead, so he got Booker as a late program
Well I agree they shouldn't have done the match if that's the case, but I also don't think for a second it would've hurt Hunter to slip on a banana peel and drop the belt.
He did that on an episode in 2000. Losing it Jericho and just getting it back immediately after. If there's one thing HHH and WWE know how to do, it's get heat. And if you have Goldberg coming by anyways, it literally doesn't matter at all.
Man imagine how great the numbers would have been if Goldberg worked with a draw and didn't have to pull all the weight.
My problem wasn't even with Booker losing
My problem was if they knew he was going to lose, then why the fuck did they book the feud as Booker being the extreme underdog face?
You simply do NOT do an underdog face storyline (especially with a heel that's so arrogant about how inferior the face is) only to have the face lose at the end. It simply doesn't fucking work, no matter how predictable the face winning is. That's why Kofi winning the belt was a good ending to most fans despite how predictable it was
And to make things worse, they didn't even have the common sense to have the face at least lose by shenanigans. They let Triple H hit his finisher, wait damn near 30 seconds to do the pin and STILL win, proving once and for all that the face was indeed inferior. Nobody benefited from that. It made Booker look weak, and it didn't even add to Triple H's heel heat because how can you argue against someone whose finisher is powerful enough to keep a wrestler down for that long?
I agree - but all the big draws had left, Hunter was the only guy with legitimacy left on Raw. Goldberg was also forced to work with shitters like Christian and Jericho
Those really are great numbers. 2002 Unforgiven did 300 and 2002 Survivor Series only did 340, so those numbers are a huge increase. SummerSlam was down from 520 though. Still an overall increase.
Imagine cutting that promo on Kofi. Sjw and basedboys would be on suicide watch all fucking year
Oh yeah, it's terrible WWE and Goldberg's relationship sucked, if they had actually made him their guy and not ruined him with shitty feuds, it could've saved the sinking ship. Imagine Goldberg vs Angle, Benoit, Undertaker, Austin - wouldve all been ultra kino
lmao
The 1-year deal really was a limiting factor.
I just wish they had brought in Goldberg for the Mania so they could've done Goldberg/Austin. Would've saved that Mania completely
