100% BASED IN THAT ASS

>6 hour podcast for a 3 hour PPV
The only one that justifies that kind of length was the Owen Hart one. That was really informative.

You need it.

The Benoit one is great too

I haven't heard that one yet, but I'll look it up now.

I would unironically join their patreon if there was an option of downloading the shows without the 2 hours of bullshit listener emails per show

based as fuck
yeah the emails go on too long

Lapsed since literally Ep3, but they have unironically peaked. IMO their last good episode was probably Bruno.

Their WCCW story arch was 6-months of doldrums and repeating the same shit over and over and over and over and over. It's cringy how they now have to tell themselves
>people said the same thing about our AWA arc....they'll eventually accept this was good!

Only problem is the AWA journey had much more ups and interesting stories to tell and some likable characters. There was only 1 story to tell with the Von Erichs, and they told it 9 times over the span of 6-months. Knew the arc was a dud when the Fritz/Moby Dick promo fell flat in episode one.
World Class journey felt like a 17-year old who is trying way too hard to be profound.

They'll always be my #1 podcast, but I'm a lapsed Lapsed fan. MAYBE they can get it back on track by doing a Herb Abrams UWF or some Russo WCW.

Based. Been listening since the Benoit series which was great. Went back and listened to the AWA series which was fantastic. Didn't listen to the whole WCCW series, it was pretty bad.

Based
There are NO SACRED COWS

Didn't even listen to WCCW, not interested.

When the FUCK are they going to do SummerSlam 1998? I need that penetration

I don’t know, I enjoyed the WCCW shows, but I was glad for the classic WWF again.

This is the sad part. I WAS INTERESTED! But I couldn't finish. I thought there would be so many good Von Erich stories. There weren't though. It was always the same ole story with those bad boys.

I'd love to know the download numbers for WWF versus territory stuff.

good news is there is now no more edgy/tragedy story arcs for them to do.
everything about World Class journey felt forced.

You didn't miss anything here is the shorted version:

>Fritz is a wrestler
>Fritz has a family
>Fritz has a child who dies, but that child lived 70-years worth of life
>Denton County, Texas
>Fritz becomes a promoter
>Sportatorium
>Fritz has a child who dies, but that child lived 70-years worth of life
>Lake Dallas
>Fritz runs Texas Stadium
>Fritz has a child who dies, but that child lived 70-years worth of life
>Lake Dallas
>Gary Hart says some things
>Fritz has a child who dies, but that child lived 70-years worth of life
>Lake Dallas
>Gino Hernandez dies
>Fritz gets out of the business
>Fritz has a child who dies, but that child lived 70-years worth of life
>Fritz gets divorced
>Fritz dies
>Lake Dallas

Any idea of the titles or numbers of these episodes? Huge fan of 90s wrestling and would love to check these out first. Thanks.

Cade on the Cast
In that ass

>listening to wrestling podcasts that aren't WOR or TWFS
Holy fucking cringeoli.

The Gary Hart quotes each episode were the best part, he was 100% based.

>giving a shit about other’s tastes

You are what’s wrong with the world today.

You got that flame broiled gimmick?

Overrated garbage.

How is there so many wrestling podcasts that are literally just reading PPV Wikipedia’s and making unfunny jokes? Who listen to this shit?

if they read this, they would seethe internally

It used to be better.
