I kinda meant more like politicians and advocacy groups but I think you have a good point there. The post 9/11 cultural landscape was pretty fucked. Shit like Limp Bizkit, Kid Rock, Attitude era WWE, etc didn't just go away overnight. It was a gradual thing. But the real watershed moment was the batshit conservative hysteria after Janet Jackson's tit got shown at the Superbowl. It was all over then.
