It was a segment in 2012 where Vince was cutting a promo in the ring while Punk stood in the crowd. Some fans around him were getting very handsy, pushing him and shit, and after someone shoved him particularly hard, Punk decided to turn around and punch him.

Funny thing was the guy he punched actually wasn't the person who touched him.

Before the match with Vince he escapes into the crowd. Vince was talking to him from the ring and this happened. It was the wrong person, the guy he 'hit' wasn't pushing Punk.
