"According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, the word from inside WWE is that Daniel Bryan is dealing with an undisclosed injury preventing him from in-ring competition.
The injury in question is being “closely guarded” according to the report, but is something that happened coming out of Wrestlemania 35.
Daniel Bryan was scheduled to face Kofi Kingston at WWE live events this weekend in Madison, WI, and Rochester, MN. It’s unknown if Bryan will be pulled from those events."

Damn, this guy has actually grown on me. I got back into wrestling after he retired so I missed his first run. I thought he was overrated until his recent heel work and his match with Brock at Survivor Series.
