There are actually people under the age of 23 who are wrestling fans

There are actually people under the age of 23 who are wrestling fans

That means they got into wrestling at the earliest during the PG Era and have grew up watching the absolute worst of wrestling ever known to man

They grew up with guys like CM Punk, Edge, Kofi Kingston on top. They have no real concept of how wrestling was. They were moulded in PG clay.

And they walk here amongst us, posing as wrestling fans.

have you seen today's raw shows? it an entire sea of s o yjaks.

I'm 23 and I grew up watching vhs rips of mnw shows, dumb normie

There aren't that many young people watching. If you listened to Meltzer's show today, he talks about the ratings decline in reference to different demos. The over-50 audience is down 10%, whilst the under-50 demos are down anything from 23% to 37%. The WWE has one of the oldest fanbases of any "sport".

>what is tapes
Are all boomers this dumb?

Anybody under the age of 27 who likes wrestling is a fucking dork

Im 22 and started watching in 2002 ya fucking dweeb!!!!

so youi started watchign during the worst period in company history? L O FUCKIN L at your life cuckster

You do realize most kids who start watching just watch random shit on youtube right? There are Stone Cold videos with 20 mil viewers

They also watched roh and tna when it was good dumbass

>tfw I tell my little brother he's growing up with objectively superior wrestling
just lie to them if you love them
don't troll millennials, seriously whats the point they already have it bad enough

I'm only here for the memes

>Larp
No young people watch shit week by week anymore, they just watch whatever they can find when not playing fortnite

Same, I'm 19 and had vhs and DVDs of attitude era shit, especially the stone.cols vs Bret Hart double turn

pretty cringe tbqh

>watching wrestling

I'm 30 and started watching in 2013

>I-Im 20 and I grew up watching replays of the Attitude era oj youtube I'm not your average w-wrestling fan. I know what the attitude era was like.

Yeah i started watching during cm punks reign but most of my fandom came from playing smackdown vs raw 2008

Nigga what's a DVD what's the network you're ding-dong diddly retarded nigga

This. I mostly bought dvds at walmart with like best wrestlemania matches or laddermatches or rise and fall of wcw.

>Zoomers think a a wrestler performing a piledriver is worthy is a pop

the best thing about the attitude era was that it seemed like everyone liked wrestling, you'd go into school the day after a PPV and everyone would be talking about it. With the way media consumption has changed you'll never get that again.

In middle school in the late 00s wwe trading cards were pretty popular at my school, that was probably the last time wrestling wasnt social suicide

>normie
Go back to r/sc ya normalfag zoomer

WHy did you open the thread then you dumb bitch?

only post ITT that matters and it has no replies. Zoomers don't watch wrestling. Even to green haired, flossing, iPad using autists who ride scooters, wrestling is too lame.

Buddy I grew up on 2007 which was a pretty based year.

Also my only concept of older wrestling was from DVDs and video games

There is only one fanbase comparable in age to the WWE audience and it's baseball.

i'm 21 and i believe ruthless aggression was better than pg.

>There are actually people under the age of 23 who are wrestling fans
Why do i never see them at shows? it's always 30 somethings

Archives exist you know?

We zoomers own this place, faggot.

meanwhile the funker and lawler were piledriving people like crazy in the 80's and 90's

Oi that explains a lot

retard

Zoomer here. I litereally only watch PPVs, and even then it's only the big four and everything NXT produces.

>NXT
Yikes!

I'm 19 and grew up watching all those guys like you said. I don't even know who half of the attitude era roster is.

WWE has always been trash with some good things here and there, the attitude era was no different

I'm 21. My first time with something wrestling related was playing Smackdown vs RAW 2007 on PS2. I loved it and it's still one of my favorite games of all time. Then I started watching Smackdown, it was 2008. I didn't liked RAW because Cena was there. Smackdown during that time had Triple H (WWE Champion), Jeff Hardy, The Undertaker, Big Show, Vladimir Kozlov, The Brian Kendrick, MVP, Edge. I was always a big fan of Rey, Taker, Jeff and Kozlov.

I stopped watching after Wrestlemania 25 because I got bored. I still watched a ton of shit from my favorite era, the ruthless agression era. I came back during WM 27, then again at WM 28. I finally started watching full time again during 2013 thanks to The Wyatt Family. Now I watch japanese stuff and deathmatch shit too, but I'm still hooked with wrestling just because of Yea Forums.

I started watch wwe during the end of the ruthless aggression era

Jeff Hardy's Smackdown run >>>>>

Wrestling ain't cool anymore. You're gonna get your little brother's bullied in school.

> 13 in 2009
You're really cutting it close there

I'm 21 and I only go to bingo halls

Proving OP's point
