i'd give it like 4.75 stars, was maybe my 3rd of 4th favorite of the big Gargano Takeover matches
the beginning was a bit sloppy, it looked like they were doing some of the moves and sequences in slow motion and it took me out of it
but it was great by the end

It was shit. Much less ability shown than in Dream/Riddle and WALTER/Dunne, much less emotion than in any other Ciampa match. It was literally a succession of kick outs so Johnny Reddit could get his victory. Kofi, but without all the good story. Now that this faggot finally has the title, the rematch will be so underwhelming it will breaks memeltzer's heart.

It was pretty absurd. Like it was worked fine but the layout of the match was just not good. Also im getting really tired of every single fucking big takeover match having table/weapon spots.
They didnt use the 2/3 stip to the best of its ability and the third fall became a total parody. Walter/Dunne and Dream/Riddle were better. The womens match was about as good. I didnt watch the tag match.

I haven't seen the match and already know what type of "wrestling" it is. The shit that is hip and cool with smark hipsters. Coreographed dancing. Just looking at those guys I couldn't give two shits being emotionally invested in their matchup. This could be maybe good opener for CW title or some shit but not anything close to main event caliber. And I lost all respect to Gargano when he talked how cool it was to get 5 stars from Dave Meltzer.

It was basically all of the things about Gargano I don't like, whereas his fight with Andrade showcased all of his best qualities. Cole, ironically, as a worker is like a human version of Gargano's worst tendencies, so that makes a lot of sense. Anyway, the psychology was piss poor and it was more DBZ than pro wrestling, and not in a good way.

It hasn't fully flourished yet but I have strong hope for Billy Corgans NWA when hearing his plans and visions. Big(ger) guys having wrestling matches that doesn't look like every spot was rehearsed backstage before the match, I can especially appreciate good punches with force behind them which is a rare sight these days. And I don't have issue for this type of stuff being part of the card but a lot of it has become the norm instead of being part of the menu.

I liked the match but it didn't deserve that many stars. Gargano/Almas and Gargano/Ciampa I were way better.

Lesnar is probably the best and by far the most underrated pro wrestler in the fucking world. His matches with AJ, Bryan, Orton, Reigns, (the first one at least) Goldberg, and somehow even Finn Balor are all 4.5 to 5 stars for me. His character is just rock solid, but he does everything exactly like he's supposed to and all of his matches feel huge because they all are. I'm not even a mark for him, but I've been watching a lot of old shit lately and it's super obvious how good his handful of matches are.

NXT is cringe.

They literally just copy PWG because most of the talent worked a lot of PWG before being signed. Which is why it's so cringe because Paul thinks he's this badass super-indie promoter who's revolutionizing wrestling, when he's just using the power of WWE showcase PWG to a larger audience. Which is also why Le Meltz rates it so high because he loved PWG's fast flippy spot shows.

Other than that, Okada is great and half of New Japan is really good.
