You dont get far in the business without being a mark for yourself. If you want to coast, you can wait a decade before the boss remembers your name but if you want to be on the absolute top, you MUST think of yourself as the absolute topmost person at all times. Cena is probably the most modest "top guy" there is right now and look at what he received, squashed by Taker, hardly mentioned, eating Ls left and right whenever he shows up, hell mania brought him back to square one with his rap gimmick segment even though he could've had an actual match.
You can be a "team player" if you are fine with eating glass once you climb that ceiling but you have to be a ME player to actually get anywhere higher. Fuck Enzo was fucking HATED but still managed to main event with the fucking Glass Ceiling Championship of all things despite being as shit as he is because he was an absolute mark for himself.

Depends on what you mean. She doesn't do high flying spots, sure, but that tag spot that gets posted often is some of the most embarrassing shit ever, and it's a basic fucking spot.

In hindsight, it's easy to conflate Hogan during his run in WCW with Hogan in the mid-80s. I'm not saying he wasn't always selfish, but he only got away with the shit he did in WCW because he was so big by that point, he could get away with murder and no one would say shit. You can be the biggest self mark in the world, but if you can't prove that you have value to back up your delusions of grandeur, you're not going to get shit but a bad working relationship with the people around you.
