basically just booking. he could have legitimately been Taker and instead he's Mideon

What is preventing him from being the Undertaker? He's a much, much better promo and Taker was the drizzling shits in the ring for 80% of his career, so its not in-ring work holding him back.

The only difference is Taker was booked to win and win and win at all times, and Bray was booked the opposite way

You're a moron, Taker was not only very good in the ring, but at the time seeing such a large man perform high flying maneuvers and move like that was unheard of. And he mostly didn't talk so thinking that he'd be the next Taker because (you wrongfully think) he's a good promo makes no sense since Taker had presence and in ring ability, something this pig does not posses. You have a point to a certain degree that booking can seriously hurt a guy if he keeps losing but the point is that this fat shit has nothing to offer and you shouldn't bury your top talent to make this garbage "look strong". a heel has to win occasionally to be a credible threat. once you've established the pattern of losing perpetually it takes all the stakes out of any feud because the conclusion is foregone. see also: the riott squad

They piled too much shit onto his character. In NXT, he walked the perfect line between being a religious cult leader and possibly being something more sinister. But because Vince actively avoids subtlety, the "being something more sinister" part of the gimmick was made int the entirety of the gimmick. So in short order, Bray Wyatt went from being a good pro-wrestling character to the main antagonist of a supernatural thriller who gets killed off by the protagonist at the end.
