Offseasons would mainly be shorter, just have people be at home, to let them rest for few weeks and bring them back for example to save some babyface or to blindside someone.
Just immediatly bring them back into the story.
You can also use this offseason to sell the big injury angles, current WWE schedule forbids you do that.
If some heel puts someone through a table, that is great way to put heat on a heel and let babyface rest. And when the babyface comes back, they already have prepared hot program.
