Indeed I am because I have stainless steel coaster which honestly look cool as fuck but don't actually do a proper job of keeping water from getting all over my desk. I say this because as condensation builds on the glass and that water pools down to the coaster instead of say the coaster absorbing it they instead allow it to pool because again they are made of stainless steel (so awesome looking when not being used).

A paper towel at least absorbs water so it works. I need to get some sandstone coasters without gay sailboats on them (yes, Grandma, they are gay even if you're dead they're still gay as fuck) so I can have moisture properly absorbed.

I have some metal ones but they have a raised lip around the outside so when the water pools up on it it stays on the coaster. I don't like them cause theyre not flat, theyre embrodered with some dutch shit so the stability isn't quite there if my hand accidentally touches the glass it just slides off it.
