Chris Jericho was a mainstay in WWE for a very long time and maintained a great relationship with them even when he was in a hiatus from the company. However, that time might have come and gone.
On the day Chris Jericho announced that he signed with AEW, WWE took his image out of their opening graphic. Now it looks like he is officially blackballed from WWE because Superstars aren’t even allowed to appear on his Talk Is Jericho podcast as Y2J explained on a recent episode.

That was always Bret not Vince. Vince would have brought him back as soon as his WCW contract ended. Bret though couldn't wrestle due to his health plus Bret still hated Vince over Montreal and even moreso Owen's death. It took Bret to bury the hatchet to bring him back.
