This. Styles and Nakamura have clearly stopped giving a fuck. They went to WWE to pad their bank accounts not to work. Nakamura left Japan broken and bruised, held together by string and rubber bands. This is his retirement run. Styles busted his ass in Japan because he knew it was being scouted by Vince and he wanted a cushy gig close to his family. He’s been given everything he wanted on a silver platter, so in the traditional wrestler logic: “we’ve already got their money...”
Devitt was never a big deal in Japan, this is pure revisionist history. He was a junior for 99% of his career there, which meant he was good for a flippy midcard match on most shows. Why WWE took a junior from the land of midgets and thrust him in their heavyweight title scene is completely beyond me but the dude has been exposed hard. The rainbow gimmick didn’t do him any favors either.
Omega is a great loss, I’ll admit that freely. He was popular worldwide and put butts in the seats. The fact that he is just past his peak physically and dealing with injuries AND currently sitting on his ass doesn’t fill me with confidence though. We have very likely seen “peak Omega” and he’s wasting his remaining time as a top 10 wrestler.
Switchblade is far too green to even judge at this stage. A little boy in a scene way over his head. It’s clearly a downgrade and NJPW is floundering to find a direction at this point but AEW has literally nothing to offer fans and WWE is ice cold.

There is a thread on this board right now with people saying this.
They haven't done shit yet. All Kenny is going to do in the first half of 2019 is have a rematch with Jericho. There are more events coming but the roster is incredibly weak so Kenny doesn't have any good opponents lined up. And they won't have tv anytime soon so there's no opporitunity to build anything up. AEW might be good in a year or two but right now it's literally nothing.

PAC is DG and Lucha Bros are everywhere. I'm talking AEW exclusives. Their actual roster.
