Chikara is filled with high-concept gimmicks like that, but all done in their shoestring budget. There's also a scientist who created three artificial monsters, a team of space cops who came to Earth to find a fugitive, there used to be a tag team between a time travelling medieval knight and himself from a literal bit earlier before he time traveled to the present. It really took advantage of the absurdity of wrestling, cringe shit like the OP is just a side-effect of the crowd of "creatives" environments like this tend to attract.

I just looked it up and apparently Archibald Peck was travelling through time from 2011 to 2015 (real time), and if he went from 2011 to 2015 you'd see 2011-him pop up 4 actual years later in the show, then travel back in time to do things you had already seen him do because it was in the past. He went back to 1885 and met Buford Tannen. There were to Archibalds due to him travelling back to the same show in different timelines and you'd see this all in real time. He got in a DeLorean in 2012 and road into a show in it in 2014. What the fuck. KINO

It's pretty neat. He once got into a win streak because he knew exactly what the opponent was going to do, because he had a "sports almanac" with match results he got from the future. Years later Mike Quackenbush unveiled a commemorative book about the history of Chikara and Archie jumped from the crowd to steal it from him, that was the almanac he was using years ago. Archie wasn't even wrestling there anymore, he came back just this once to close out the circle.
