Bret was an egomaniac about his wrestling for a reason. He worked fucking hard to be that good. It's an absolute shame WWE couldn't find a way to keep Bret's and Shawn's egos in check enough, Bret would have been a nice contrast with the onset of the attitude era with his no-nonsense persona and excellent technical wrestling.
