*gets booked like Roman*
*gets cheered*
How come?

Attached: kofi.jpg (300x168, 6K)

cause the fans like him lmao

Context is a thing.

He's all the things Miz said he was during his promo, without a push anywhere close to what the Miz has gotten.

By not being booked like Roman for the past 10 years

white guilt

Roman is brown too though.

Because it hasn't been five years of this shit and the underdog character is actually an underdog rather than a guy they just say he is.

only half, doesn't count. one drop of cumskin blood rule, etc etc

One drop rule says he's not white though.

Rock isn't considered the first black champ

He's still considered an ethnic champion.

He's a bulbasaur

Only by retards

The Rock is considered Samoan. Even black people don't consider the Rock black.
The first black WWE Champion will be Kofi Kingston.

If it were Roman, he would have ended the matches with his finisher and not with a roll-up though

Also he would've beaten Bryan with a single Superman Punch as soon as he stepped into the ring.

>*gets cheered*
Those are recordings played on the PA.

Because the storylines dont actually matter to the WWE crowd right now. All that matters is their favorite guys are winning, the narratives behind their wins might as well not exist.

If Obama is black, The Rock is black. The Rock is darker than Obama

>be black
>get push

Yeah, and the people in the crowd caught on camera standing up, clapping and chanting are new technology VR holograms. The Smackdown/Fox money has really helped WWE invest in ways to trick the crowd.

obongo is a faggot

He got over organically, Vince tried to force feed Roman to fans and they rejected him.

If you're a Roman Reigns fan then you're an anti-white leftist

>He got over organically

you have to go back

he is a comedy midcarder that was given a huge push in that first gauntlet match as a replacement

Dbry is actually getting good heel heat, any face gets a rub from him.

Kofi is getting a push to to tenure instad of neopotism

Cause he can do more than 5 moves and normies thinks that what makes a good wrestler.

Roman wasn't booked like Roman for 10 years before he got his singles push

If a white halfbreed won the WWE title, would he be considered a white champion?
He would not. Mixed race =/= White
By the same token, Mixed =/= Black
Doesn't matter what they "identify" as. It's really very simple.

That doesn't mean anything. Watch Wrestlemania 18. Hogan is darker than Rock. That doesn't mean Hogan is black.

Rodney Mack is lighter than The Rock and he was considered black.

because he was organically over at the time

He has charisma and is likeable

Only Jamaican Kofi was over. Bland American Kofi was never over.

I mean I can't argue with that.

Because he has been an underdog for fucking ever and is not a giant muscular guy.

Because he's black.

The Rock isn't Black/Samoan, he's Samoan/Wh*te.
His real dad is Vince McMahon Sr, who raped Mammy Maivia in the sweltering heat of August 1971.

The Miz is interesting and has charisma though.

And roman was booked that way for 5 years, breaking Rumble records, survivor series, pinning everyone clean..
Kofi has more experience (more deserving), more talent (more deserving), and a little more likability.

Both Kofi and Roman are (would be) 5/10 wwe champs though.
Its like seeing the enormous gap between Bryan and AJs run. Some guys are on another obvious level and truly deserve it.

11 years

>11 years of a career more decorated than almost any of his contemporaries

That shtick only works if the guy was genuinely under-pushed.
Kofi has been over-pushed, if anything. He's the definition of a bland midcarder and had midcard titles lumped on him repeatedly, then obviously lucked out enormously with the ND run.
This shtick would work with Zack.

>genuinely under-pushed.
perception is reality
Perception of people coming to the shows is that he is "underrated". There you go.
I know you don't understand why or how that works, but listen to the reaction, look around and see the reactions online.
I am not making it up, it's the fact.
You have 100% facts and you can back it up, but the perception is what I am saying. And WWE is playing those people like a violin.

People are reacting because he's something fresh and modern WWE is predicated on cycling out fads because it's so same-old and rote they'll pop for anything reasonably fresh.
I don't buy that any decent chunk of people genuinely think a guy who has been afforded so much screen-time and emphasis pre and during ND is honestly underrated.

The other factor here is genuine heat.

People genuinely wanted DBrys rise, and WWE genuinely held him down and tried to depush him.
This is manufactured.
People are stupid, generally, and cant articulate what they want - that doesn't mean they don't know what they want. (though this stupid im cheering loud cause others are cheering loud is a hit against that theory)

>lmao
Giggling faggot

>ND is honestly underrated.
The word underrated is thrown around so much it has lost any meaning. Same with "psychology" or "draw". They've lost what they really meant and people use them without understanding what they are saying.
>People are stupid, generally, and cant articulate what they want - that doesn't mean they don't know what they want. (though this stupid im cheering loud cause others are cheering loud is a hit against that theory)
That's what pro-wrestling is. They want to feel good on that night when their hero succeeds. Just the storytelling shifted somewhat.
The thing that I am most surprised about is that only just now is WWE using this after stumbling in a dark for years and trying to force specific narrative. Wrestling always was to use what is crowd telling you, so they come back for more.
If the crowd is telling you "push this guy" you pushed him. Crowd will tire after 2 months and latch onto something new. WWE has the money. They really can give people what they want. Why fight it. Especially during WM. Give them reason to cheer and go home happy.
They will come back next time you come to town.

nah he is by far the weakest part of new day

This.
The only thing going for him he has is tenure. And support of people in his own team.
Because ND has stated on multiple occasions (Big E and Xavier, never Kofi himself), that kofi will be made world champ, that is their career goal. This story is simple. And resonates. And when it is done, it will be time to move on, because Kofi is nothing more than a feel good moment. And people should understand that even those who cheer for him know that.
