That's good that the Bucks aren't mad but c'mon. There's no reason it should have been the longest match when Cody had a world title match at his own show, the Bucks had a dream match at their own show and the most over wrestler had a dream match against Penta. I'm guessing Okada wanted to put on one of this world class 5 star classics to give his pals the Elite a big show for their PPV and Marty was into it because it's the only chance he'll ever have but it wasn't the right time or place.

This. They were in the ring and just went for the best match they could have possibly do.
Okada wanted to be the best he could have been in a match with Junior. And Bucks themselves said that they went "go as long as you need" for Marty and Okada.
But yes, they fucked up, because this was their first time doing this. They said it was a problem with a ramp, because there was only one entrance and one exit. So people had to exit the same way next act entered and they have lost minutes on that for example.

Didn't Okada tell NJPW he was wrestling at All In and there was nothing they could do to stop him? I forget sometimes how close he is with the Bucks. I know NJPW signed the Bucks because of him, I bet he encouraged a lot of the Omega / Cody / Elite western push of the last few years.
Or they could have just dropped the completely forgettable MJF match, the pointless celebrity match, the token women's match, Cody blading for ten minutes, or the dick druids.

Being on excursion is probably bad enough, you're far away from home in a different culture, plus you're in fucking TNA. It's not easy to deal with. Having friends like the Bucks to help you out was probably a really big deal for Okada.

and live at ALL IN i was thinking it was maybe the best show i'd ever been to. there was electricity in the air.
