Compare the runner ups. AAA and Lucy's Underground air 1 hour a week with the occasional special shows running 2-3 hours long. In comparison, WWE airs almost 10 hours weekly and at least 5 of those are the main shows you would need to watch to understand the main storylines. So a bad show for those 2 wouldn't be nearly as bad as a bad show from WWE since the amount of shit quickly adds up there.

The original World of Sport wrestling was a once very successful English promotion from the 1950s to 1980s. Genichiro Tenryu was the ace of Super World of Sport (SWS), a similarly named but unrelated Japanese promotion. The English World of Sport was revived two years ago I think. i've seen them a few times (including live) but i've seen way less of them than others like the YBs, GL, and UE.
Golden Lovers barely felt like a tag team, it was so shortlived. it's hard to argue with the quality of the few matches they did though. they had a few botches early on but still, the quality of matches was nuts.
Undisputed Era too. some insane matches. usually the best on whatever Takeover they were on. they were stealing the show from whatever slot they were in. had some MOTY candidates too.

I like GL, but I have to agree with this. They worked like 20 matches for the year, maybe three-four were memorable, and they were never involved in the title picture (let alone winning them).
They’re a great special attraction team, but they can’t be this high on the list. Maybe top 10, but certainly not second.
