What makes Sendai Girls different from TJPW and Stardom?
Work rate? Meiko? Female NJPW-lite dojo graduates?

Stylistically, I'm not sure if they are so different.
I suppose you could say they have more of a sports like presentation, but they blend serious wrestling and comedy just like Stardom and TJPW
What makes them different is the talent on the roster.

>Sendai Girls is more work rate oriented. Closest example but not really an exact comparision is NJPW. You'll see full effort from everybody on the show, from the opening young trainees to the main events. Overall best wrestling of the joshi promotions now.
>Stardom has great work rate too but there's a lot of filler. You could go a whole show or two without seeing an above average match. They have heavy emphasis on factions and tell storylines that typically end with a great match.
>TJPW is pure anime. All the focus is on the characters, storylines and comedy. Matches aren't typically good. But the ride is fun and entertaining.

There is an Eiger and Hirota match on every Sendai show. 40% of every show is comedy. Another match is always Kaoru doing the same thing she's been doing for 15 years hitting people with her board and trying to drop it on people.

If Stardom has a lot of filler, presumably because they have no on-going "story", then what do you call Sendai Girls which is basically the same thing? Both promotions focus more on match ups and champion vs. challenger than "angles". You should stop going into these promotions expecting the televised narrative style seen in western promotions when they follow entirely different philosophies.

It isn't. OZ, SEAdLINNNG, WAVE, GATOH MOVE and DIANA all have around the same amount of wrestlers. Pure-J and Marvelous have a bit more. Stardom, Ice Ribbon, TJPW and Actwres girl'Z have a lot more.

If you have watched one Sendai Girls show this year you have basically seen them all. The cards are rarely memorable. The wrestling is always good but there is only a few great matches over the course of the year.
