That's now how this works you fucking idiot
2001.
Saying Kane is objectively wrong because he was such a monster just for Austin to beat him being all the sweeter.
Ya got worked lol
Fuck you I'm saying Kane anyways.
Sheamus winning in 2012 was the smart choice because he actually won his Mania match and held the title for six months...while Jericho lost his Mania match
2002: Austin should have won
ITZALLABOUTDEGAYME
WHAT!?
Austin wasn't Vince's pick and by 2002 WCW was long dead with no competition remaining, so Vince stopped pushing Austin and started again pushing his future son-in-law hard. Despite Austin still being their most over face, his plan for Austin was a shit feud with Scott Hall going into Mania and then putting over his next pet project Lesnar at a random RAW.
Austin did the right thing leaving.
>all those empty seats
wtf
Royal rumbles are the worst anytime a guy is returning from a major injury because it was so obvious they're winning.
Except if you're Daniel Bryan in 2015.
Rey has been one of my fav wrestlers since golden age wcw. and even as a teen aged, SEScoops readin workrate mark in the mid 2000s, i still thought Rey winning that rumble was stupid. i barely remember the rumble itself tho. who shoulda won that one?
BASED OG SEscoops reader. I remember finding out about Solomonster Sounds Off from there
Thank god he didn't win because he would go on to retire a few months later but smarks will still seethe to this day
Randy was probably who they planned for '06 before Eddie died, given they arbitrarily added him to that match anyway, and they were probably going for a Batista/Orton match at Mania before Batista's injury.
Personally, I would have booked it so that Edge retained the title in his rematch against Cena at the Rumble through some bullshit, and then Cena entered into the Rumble and won it, leading to a rematch at Mania. That was a far hotter program than Triple H/Cena.
Austin pussied out and didn't want to work with Hogan because he knew he would get blown out the box. So WWE punished him for being a punk ass bitch.
>Triple H/Cena.
That feud was trash. Especially coming off the great Edge one.
Come to think of it that was classic Gaytch sticking himself in a hot feud that was drawing.
ive never said out loud but if i did it would be C-SCOOPS, right?
Fuck off, autist. Kane should've won.
BBD Should have won every rumble he's been in
2001 rumble Kane was kino
CRINGE
i am too lazy to look it up but there was the rumble where jericho came back with his stupid glowing jacket and got over huge without saying a single word. everybody thought he would go over in a really big storyline but then he lost the rumble to sheamus.
i cant remember whom he ended up feuding with that year. sheamus i think went on to beat bryan in ten seconds or whatever it was. that whole years was some dumb shit man
>he didn't like Cena vs PEOPLE POWER
cringe
I'm pretty sure they had Sheamus go over because Jericho winning it after his huge return was too predictable
>Randy Savage
Why? Savage was a made man. Him winning would do nothing for him.
There was a slump since... 2012 in which during the last 2, the runner up should have won.
2012: Sheamus beat Jericho despite a white hot return (both have a title match at Mania anyway, blew the rumble win on 18 seconds)
2013: John Cena eliminated Ryback (Say what you want now, but Ryback was so fucking over. This was also when we all knew Rock would fight Cena anyway, and Rocks title match was AFTER this giving away Punk losing. Ryback went on to lose to Hall of Pain)
2014: Batista eliminated Roman. This ones iffy because of Bryans early elimination, but the crowd really embraced Roman as the "please not Batista" victory. This is easily when they should have just pulled the trigger on Roman, and he would have been cheered because of it. We all know what happened to Batista, and Roman went into a short 6 man tag.
2015: Roman eliminated Rusev. Rusev was getting super over as a heel at this stage, and Roman already had people turning on him because everyone knew going in he'd be the winner. It's amazing what a 1 year difference can do. Roman went on to lose, Rusev got buried by Cena and never really recovered.
2016: HHH beat Ambrose. This one was for the title, and nobody needed a HHH title run in 2016. This is why they don't have any stars. HHH went on to lose the belt to Roman at Mania and Ambrose had his match(?) with Lesnar (and never really recovered).
If you reverse the list it comes out a lot better.
2004, somebody other than Benoit so that WWE doesn't have to stop pretending it never happened.
reddit spacing mmm
Spaced so the wall of text was easier to read my dude
The only correct winners were 1998,2000,2001, 2003 and 2005.
the one where people wanted to see Roman win but fucking Batista
Reading sucks:(
