As I suspected. I know Dave is a meme but he's gone over 5 stars so much I legitimately thought that he had mental issues or that these guys were really good when I got back into wrestling

I feel like Akiyama is a better solo worker, I never really cared for Taue and it seemed like he benefited from tagging with Kawada a lot.

I used to hate on Taue in comparison to the other pillars too, and while he is the worst of the big 4 he does a lot of things that are great. And yes, he did shine better in tag teams.

Taue can do it solo too, his first TC win against Misawa in 96' is incredibly underrated.

In the 90s Taue pretty much destroys Akiyama. I mean not even a competition. Akiyama was notorious for being disappointing in singles matches, and just in the 90s. And of course he's better than any Nu Japan shitter.
