Pro Wrestling NOAH was named because it was a sort of Noah's Ark for the roster of All Japan after almost all of them left. Their big shows played into this theme: Great Voyage, European Navigation etc. Misawa was Noah and he was taking everyone on a journey.

New owners are trying to do it big. They either succeed or burn out. I still think they will cut their losses and either shut down NOAH or sell it within 2 years.
