Can we get a comfy Fire Pro thread going?
TEW, WWE2K, and whatever else are welcome too, especially if you're talking booking
Can we get a comfy Fire Pro thread going?
Sure.
So my question is about Fire Pro Wrestling World, can I skip matches playing when I'm booking? I dislike how some of the animations look. I also wouldn't mind if I had to watch them but could control a wrestler.
yea you can skip matches altogether, or set them at like 3x speed or whatever
you can control a wrestler or not
I should get into Fire Pro World again. I haven't played it since it came out.
Fire Promoter is a pretty big reason to jump back in
NJPW Jr. Heavyweight DLC comes out next week too
Can you choose who wins matches yet?
only by playing
Okay lads I have an issue.
When setting up my promotions I can’t add WWE because it has over 500 people, every other promotion works just fine. But that’s okay I can go without the E
The second problem is a lot worse. I set up my first card, click “skip match” and it just gets stuck on loading. Like it just never goes past that. Multiple attempts too, tried changing the country I start in and it still does it, changed names plenty of times. I have absolutely no idea how to fix this, which sucks because I’m super hyped for this.
I’ve also tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still no fix
Wrestling is a shoot brother
but you never had any trouble like that in regular exhibition matches?
you on pc or ps4?
Damn, I was hoping to be able to choose simmed matches. Like PC mods allow you to do.
do you have those 500 in the promotion divided into more manageable stables?
how many do you have total?
Rate my promoter roster, 3 years in

Is it worth having a lot of guys signed or just having a few and inviting loads of free agents?
yea it'd be nice i guess
i skip most of my matches, sim a few, and then if i really want a certain outcome i play in it and make it happen
5.8/10
i'm not a fan of anyone but real wrestlers
it's worth having them signed. free agents will skip on you a lot and leave you hanging. rotate your guys to keep matches and the wrestlers fresh. then loan some others out and steal promotions' titles
Yeah those are always fine, playing on PC
Couldn’t be bothered sorting everyone into stables. Got about 1300 people all up
you could at least put them into face and heel, and in the case of your biggest promotions, maybe separate by decade for the non-active wrestlers
1) they'll get booed or cheered based on their alignment, and cheat/use weapons for heels, and run-ins come from the same stable
2) would be more manageable for you (after the work of setting it up)
3) might be more manageable for the game and not get hung up
Pretty much only have the game characters employed because they kept going over and their popularity went up to S in my region.
Switch port when REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Promoter mode is dog shit, maxxed out gym and most succesful fed after 4 years. Nothing to do after that and you can run random cards every week and fill out 50k $100 seats.
I wish the online wasn't dead
Can you choose who goes over in a match without having to play the match? I know you can skip matches or let the CPU do the work but I don't like the idea of my champion losing because the computer said so.
Enjoying your two games?
how the fuck do i check which of my downloaded edits require the NJPW DLC? i added a couple of hundreds of them so i can start a proper promoter run, but apparently now i can't load my save because of the simp-ass dlc required shit.
any editor worth a shit will tell you if it's a DLC edit or not
the DLC is worth getting
if not, well, you live and learn
i'd say most people have downloaded a big roster, learned what a good edit is, deleted everything and started over
I have more than 2 games
what difficulty were you playing on?
did you do the money/limitless roster cheat?
Medium and no. The game is really simple, steal other promotions belts and refuse to loan new champ back. Pay for best referee and start with limited opposition in area, Europe.
what difference does the referee make?
i always just used my ref edits
i like that i can book the way i want without going out of business
sorry you're trying to beat it as fast as you can and you get upset when you beat it as fast as you can
actually it says on the edit's steam workshop page, right side
>what difference does the referee make?
More expensive ref, better % matches
That's the problem, I wasn't trying to beat it fast. The game doesn't reward thought or booking principles. You can click random wrestlers, add the titles and sell out shows or you can take 6 hours doing a card and get the same end result.
