I pin everybody, and then I win the belt.
win if you can, lose if you must, but always cheat
All the matches are fake except for mine
pay the other guy to throw the match
If they're the same size as me (5'9), they shouldn't get to be world champion
jews did 9/11
If she doesn't have a brapper, I'm not gonna fap to her

Damn straight!
Good matches above all else, always aim to have the match of the night.
She looks adorable here
Wins and losses don't matter. The story matters more.
Work your gimmick within the context of the story given.
Fuck moves, focus on making moments.
Long form promos aren't needed.
This.
Booking should be based around merchandise sales. If merch sales are stagnating for a particular wrestler, attempt a push. If merch sales continue to drop, turn them heel and focus pushes on someone else. Titles should be reserved for wrestlers who have good merch sales and you want to keep the momentum of those sales.
>comedy no, humor is fine
>don't over expose yourself
>at least try to respect and keep to kayfabe. have fun with it
>treat like a sport, make titles and wins seem important. use stories and make people invested
>look at current culture and be part of that
>real larger than life characters. have them work the gimmick 24/7 so people at least think "that wrestling stuff is all fake, but that guy is real"
>work the sponsors, stakeholders by giving guys permission to be edgy at times
>invest in the future. take time to build stars over several years not months
>use will known mainstream stars to get your guys over
>don't consider yourself 'alternative' or 'entertainment'. Market yourself as the number 1. Don't even acknowledge competition.
>cater to everyone. have children's shows and events, appeal to old school, large markets like India/middle East/Mexico, edgy AE stuff for late night prime time
>make it accessible on YouTube, social media etc
>pull publicity stunts, work everyone and make young people meme about you
That I wish I was born a cute girl
you play to win the game
No more politics, no more primadonnas. In your face!
So does Bayley

70-30 Booking
roll tide on that
Just have a kayfabe reason for doing whatever you're doing during a match. And balance that with having a sense for "Telling a story," all "beginning, middle, end," building to a climax and shit, in order to string the audience along. Keeping in mind that the entire farce is based on the premiss of wrestlers wanting to win their matches for pride and money.
A shooting star press "doing more damage" than a regular splash due to the backflip rotating the knees into the target's ribs? Fine. This is basically live action anime anyway, just save it for the finish.
The stupid shit in this webum? Absolutely indefensible.
To the very limited extent this works (the opener needs to realize it's the opener, and try not to steal the thunder of later matches on the card), it only works if the wrestler actually understands psychology and isn't a spot monkeying self mark throwing people onto their necks from the top rope only to just get up and keep wrestling.
>Wins and losses don't matter.
So why do they hold matches?
>focus on making moments.
How do you intend to "make moments" in matches when the outcome of those matches is explicitly irrelevant? No one is going to give a shit, and therefore there will be no "moment."
Also, how are "moments" going to consistently draw? You have to run another show, what then, now that you've blown your load for a "moment"?
Above all things, remember that wrestling is an art form, and that its purpose is to both entertain and exploring the human condition. It is an integral part of our civilization, and when you choose it as your vocation you should respect the role you are preparing to serve.
If you're in the wrestling business solely to make money, you have made a very poor choice. Yes, every wrestler must put food on their table, but it is not the reason wrestling persists.
Winning and losing CANNOT matter if the wins and losses are predetermined. It's that simple. Wins and losses cannot matter if it doesn't affect your paycheck either.
A match is a fight scene in a movie. Jackie Chan or Bruce Lee or Tony Jaa versus [x]. The fight has its own story, its own beginning, middle and end. The star is going over or whatever matters more to the plot will happen. If that means the star gets beat, then he gets beat.
Moments and angles are points within the story that people remember regardless of the outcome or following segment. Case in point: the staredown between Hogan/Rock, people will always remember that. They will always remember where they were when it happened. The moment isn't ruined due to the finish. Who won or who lost is irrelevant.
You can try to sell me on the "wins and losses matter" shit but in the end, I know it isn't real and that keeps it from being that important. Psychologically, I want to see who wins but mostly because of how who wins achieves the victory and impacts the story of the characters going forward.
There is merit to what you are saying, but there is also a fundamental difference between the way professional wrestling is booked and written and the way a movie is written and directed. Wrestling booking is this flowing, living thing with different levels of meta-competition going on where the story can change in the middle of the production (or even the match) based on the audience reaction, and the wrestlers themselves are competing with each other for the love of the crowd.
If you are a professional wrestler it would be more true to live by the axiom that every match should matter, win or lose.
Imagine saying adorable unironically
No one does shit like that.
The match has to matter just like the fight scene has to matter. Everything that takes place matters in one way or another but ultimately winning and losing doesn't matter.
Wins and losses matter when stakes are high. When your title is on the line, your job/hair/mask etc then I expect a different approach to the match.
But the vast majority of wrestling matches are cold where one guy wrestles another, who wins or loses in a cold match doesn't matter. What matters is when there's story and stakes.
People get too uptight about wins and losses. There are bonafide legends who have lost every gotdamn feud they've been involved in, guys who have surprise wins over top names, and guys who have had long winning streaks or title runs that didn't amount to shit because there was no defining moment within it.
Thats cute but that only works for small feds. WWE makes shit all on merch compared to their TV deals and they will push whoever they think will draw the viewers, regardless of merch.
Wrestlers need to have that “larger than life” feel to them.
They don’t need the best body or best in ring work but it helps (look at Okada).
Height and muscle do matter. Guys like Lesnar and Roman feel like superstars. They have “it” they’re don’t look like you or me.
I will never buy someone like Johnny Gargano or any of the Indy shitters as legit top contenders because I’m taller and I could probably kick their ass myself irl. They also carry themselves as fags in social media
A smaller guy like Daniel Bryan I buy as a world champion because he’s like benoit in the sense that he can be intense and take a beating in the ring, and he can outsmart bigger guy (look at his kino match vs Lesnar). His moveset is based, like the head stomps and German suplexes Someone like Rey Mysterio, he doesn’t have the most brutal move set but in kayfabe he can slowly outsmart his opponent with his quick pace and sneaky offense.
Indy shitters can have good matches against other shitters but not all can be contenders against the big world champions.
WWE also need to book ALL their champions as legit. Look at UFC, some of their PPVs they book their manlet division in the main event when it makes sense and “mighty mouse” DJ who’s shoot 5’3 irl draws the dimes and makes HIS division believeable. Same with UFCs “women’s division”
WWE can book lesser champions in the main event to make superstars for each of their divisions.
For example, Murphy vs Alexander for the manlet title in Australia should’ve main evented and it could’ve made them both and their division legit, but they got overshadowed by cringy boomers
Just because not all your Indy shitter darlings should be main event world champions it doesn’t mean they can’t be “larger than life” and booked as legitimate in their own divisions
>The star is going over or whatever matters more to the plot will happen. If that means the star gets beat, then he gets beat.
This is an admission that wins and losses matter, you retard. You're varying the outcome based on how it effects the story because it EFFECTS THE STORY because wins and losses matter, you fucking dipshit.
Everything in wrestling is based on who wins the fucking matches. If the babyface wins, happy story! If the heel wins, downer ending. If the heel wins via DQ due to interference, he fails to win the title, but the babyface wants to get his hands on the heel for a reciprocal whooping, so he challenges the heel to a rematch in a cage. The outcome of that match will determine the audience's ultimate reaction to the entire goddamn angle, and the story arcs of both wrestlers going forward.
All wrestling is, is a series of finishes, you fool. To say the finishes don't matter is to say that nothing in the story matters and you shouldn't waste your time or money following it.
>But the vast majority of wrestling matches are cold where one guy wrestles another, who wins or loses in a cold match doesn't matter. What matters is when there's story and stakes.
Goldberg got incredibly over by winning a series of cold matches with no story, to such a point that him simply winning all his matches became the story. And then all of his heat was killed, in the ring, by the self aggrandizing retard of a booker, with a taser. Because he lost.
Wins and losses are the goddamn cornerstone of wrestling. EVERYTHING ELSE is built on this. Get it through your stupid, underage b& zoomer faggot skull.
some good points here, shame your had to write like a faggot
Tl dr
this guy is definitely white, manlet, 400lbs, virgin, smark, basement dweller
manlets can be good and entertaining in the ring, but bulldozers like McIntyre and Lesnar should be world champions
money and miles
>WWE makes shit all on merch
Probably because their clothes and shit look fucking terrible.
Memes are free and unstoppable advertising, he got that right
Go home Paul
how would the guys in the opener make it up the card if they are purposely holding back to not overshadow the top guys?? The top guys should keep proving why they are the top guys and the bottom guys should keep trying to get to the top.
