Stone Cold for sure. I never hated the Rock as a kid or anything, he just never did anything for me. Now when I watch him back I just cringe at how he just buried everyone in promos. I can only imagine the outrage if anyone did that today.

Stone Cold is the legitimate GOAT, he represents the final flicker of masculanity in western society, he was the greatest promo until the “What!?” shit and he was one of the best technical wrestlers before the neck injury. The end of Stone Cold was really WrestleMania X-Seven, I highly recommend his documentarty for anybody.

Austin. I think he had everything better.
Rock's only possible advantage is that he portrays both heel/face exceptionally, whereas Austin's portrayal of a heel was marred by timing and disallowed from ever getting true, consistent heat because fans were still too high on him as a babyface/tweener.
Even then I'd still vouch for Austin, his heel promos were great. Just, very poorly timed.
