Remember how brutal and competitive they were booked? They all just wanted to kick the shit out of each other for the title. There was no BS and the fans were into it. Each one even Charlotte had a piece of the crowd support. For a brief moment in time the women's program was legitimately the hottest thing on the show. This plain triple threat at Mania won't be as memorable as that TLC match.
Royal Rumble was a solid endgame, 1 on 1 clean no-nonsense for the title. Everything for everyone has gone down the shitter after that. Asuka gets vanished, they have dogshit to pair her with. Becky has been so cringey that even a lot of her fans are complaining about it. All the McMahon involvement and injury & suspension "drama" has devalued everything. The Evil Shoehorned Charlotte angle is annoying. Ronda is... Ronda, a complete flustered dweeb on mic & twitter. She isn't an attraction anymore, she's just another face and the fans are booing her right along with Charlotte.
It doesn't feel like anyone really wants to see Becky VS Ronda (or Charlotte) Fans are not looking forward to an actual matchup. They just want to see Becky holding that title and meme chant her name. The whole thing feels drug out and tired already and there's still over a month to go. And now we've entered WCW booking...
I don't think anyone is carrying this feud, it's plummeting into a faceplant Charlotte may be the most natural in her character even if cranking it up to 11, but there's still a disconnect since Ronda only focus' on Becky

Dean turning heel the day Roman's leave was the perfect thing. The guy had nuclear heat, Seth was the biggest babyface at this point, having a great head start to kick him as the next face of the company while Roman is gone (at least as a transitional face until they build up somebody else). The set up was perfect and they fucked it up.
They had no idea what to do with Dean. They had no idea what they wanted with this feud. They didn't planned anything for afterwards. They didn't tie this feud with the precedent storyline (even tough they won the tag titles from Ziggler and Drew, they got anything out of their break ups). The entire angle was botched. Seth won an underwhelming match, then moved on and it never was referenced again.
