Shoot fights rarely follow the rules, it's easier to defend yourself if there isn't a ref there to disqualify you for stomping a downed opponent. I got into a shoot fight with a guy outside a club because he thought I was moving on his girl (my friend) and he was insecure. We were the same height and roughly the same weight, I think. He outright told me he was a BJJ black belt like 2 hours earlier, I've never trained. He said I should come to his class. I agreed.

However, in a shoot fight that dude was out of his depth. I hit him with one punch and then stomped him and he stopped moving. Once he woke up I made sure he got home OK as up until then he was cool and we chatted, I still went to his class, but never went back again as my friend left him because he kept starting fights and getting his ass kicked.

People who can shoot handle themselves don't threaten people on twitter, they only ever act in self defence and even a BB in BJJ wont stop you from getting whooped if the other person knows how to end a fight quickly.
