Manlets make the best wrestlers

>manlets make the best wrestlers
>manlets don't draw*
Is this the cruelest paradox in wrestling?

*except for Rey Mysterio

John Cena is a manlet

>he jump and do the thing

Manlets draw, just not in pro wrestling.

the height thing doesn't bother me if the wrestler actually looks like an athlete... if they hit the gym and got a clue. it's when they look like a fan that it bothers me, regardless of height. marty scurll and big ass are equally cringe and i can't suspend my disbelief and hold on to the idea that they're actually tough.

Jim Londos was a manlet

It's barely a paradox, it's just meme talk from wrestling fans on Yea Forums that get a hardon for big men.

Mysterio sold some masks but never drew one peso friendo.

Good wrestlers don't draw

what do you mean 'make the best wrestlers'?
the problem is smarks think being a good wrestler means in ring

to be a good wrestler you need the look, the charisma, the mic skills, the it factor and finally the in ring

and only Meltzer knows who he is, so I guess he has that going for him

they're not even right about in-ring either. I don't mind flippy shit if you sell but there are smarks who think more action is always better

WWE manlets aren't booked to draw

In ring doesn't matter at all. Hogan, Austin (at his peak) and the Rock where never technical wizards like the small guys are but it didn't matter because they had charisma and psychology.

You want to hear the truth why wrestling doesn't draw anymore: Because in this day and age everyone knows it's fake, but somehow the minds in the business are being swayed by the loudest voices that pure wrestling matches are what people want to see, to see who the best wrestler is, which proves nothing because it's all PREDETERMINED. X beating Y in a great match doesn't have the same appeal and suspense as actual sports where people/teams compete to be the best. Wrestling is nad will always be seen as soap opera. You need stories and characters over what goes on in the ring first and foremost.

Test

you know for a fact that he means best workers rather than best all-round package

> 205 constantly offers the best matches in every ppv they are featured in
Stories and angle aren't as awful as on Raw/Smackdown (they aren't particularly good either)
> People still don't care about them
Being a 205chad is suffering. I'm just glad my boy Mustafa Ali is getting the spotlight he deserves.

>Manlets make the best wrestlers
Wrong. All the big guys worth a shit were excellent workers in at least one point in their careers.
>Manlets don't draw
Being shorter is a disadvantage but having talent and a promotion that actually cares about their product can help to compensate.

Hogan was a great in ring worker, mark

Go to bed, Terry.

>psychology
Nigga you don't even know what that means

It's almost like wrestling is the least important factor in wrestling.

Best wrestlers currently aren't manlets.

Refute him.

>listing Look first

gay

>only technical wizards are good wrestlers

shut up dweeb

NO dumbass
what keeping wrestling back is all the cheesy gimmicks and stories
if wrestling want to be taken seriously again it needs to
1. get rid of heels and faces
2. have no music
3. have NO GIMMICKS
4. everyone wear black tights
5. no story lines
6. no shit talking promos

wrestling needs to be taken seriously as an actualy sport. not all the dumb "gimmicks" and "heels and faces". all that shit is dumb

we want WRESTLING

>Best wrestlers currently aren't manlets.

By all means tell us who (You) think that the "best wrestlers currently" are

t. e-Drone

based cringe posting

>t. e-Drone
Their stories and characters are shit, why would I watch them?

If you get worked by this you're too stupid for Yea Forums

But the best active wrestler right now is 6'4, and the all time GOAT was 6'0

is that jackie chan? didn't know he wrestled

Okada/Ibushi/Omega/Ospreay/Ishii/Takahashi
2/6 manlets, and those two are Jap, so probably not manlet by their standards.

>Ospreay
>Omega

>muh smarks

Omega is like 5'8

This. Look at Neville for example.

Yep. Why not?

It's very contentious but I think he's at least average height. He has weird reads.
He was eye level with AJ in lifts before wearing lifts himself so 5'9-10 seems alright.
