I don’t think he’s going to AEW (even though multiple dirt sheets have said he’s not happy with WWE), I’m just saying that strong booking isn’t the same as being treated well. Ambrose had strong booking for the most part, but he was still frustrated creatively.

Also AJ will obviously be paid well for AEW.

Ambrose was booked pretty strongly but was also forced into hokey "it's wacky tacky Deano!" bullshit whereas AJ has been portrayed as "The Phenomenal One" pretty accurately and has had both a good heel character and a (admittedly pretty bland) strong no-bullshit fighting babyface who's known for having great matches.
The only thing I can think of that he'd have to be unhappy with is the WWE schedule, and he's probably at a point in his life where he's mande enough money and wants to go home and be a family man, which he's be able to do if he was working for AEW.

Hopefully he does leave and go to an actual wrestling promotion. I made the mistake of watching the Rumble after not keeping up with WWE for years. That match with him and Daniel Bryan was one of the most disappointing things I've ever seen. These two guys were a couple of the best wrestlers in the world at one point in time. Now they're shitting it up in the WWE, slapping chinlocks on eachother for for what feels like an hour straight. And you just know that, even in 2019, these two could have stolen the show, but they were probably told beforehand not to do so because WWE is literally bad on purpose. This was a title match at their second biggest PPV of the year too, and it still fucking sucked.

I really have to wonder what's going through the minds of the e-drones as they watch shit like this. Are they not aware of how boring it is? Do they even watch the matches at all or is it just a case of them sitting there dicking around on their phones and occasionally looking at the wrestlers just to check if it's over yet? It sometimes seems like they actually know how shit it all is because, as seen in this very thread, they'll constantly stick up for good wrestlers phoning it in because "hurr durr he's gotta feed his family, why don't you want him to be successful, I for one am happy for him because I'm a REAL fan".

The sooner all e-drones have been replaced with a giant black tarp the better. It's gonna be kinda hard to justify talented guys spamming restholds and half assing it on a weekly basis when every match is an empty arena match.
