Why don't you own one of these?

Why don't you own one of these?

Attached: 1.jpg (1411x1428, 1.69M)

I own a phone.

I have a Deck.

Advance 2 sucks compared to 1 and 4

because i have no desire in a chinese handheld that plays games i can play on a gorillion other devices

Because I can play them on my phone so easily.

I still have functional original hardware. And even if I didn't, I can emulate it on my computer for free.

I don't enjoy using handheld consoles.

Because I have a Gameboy Advance SP that I've had for 15 years and it still werks.

Ayy miyoo mini squad shit. Yea i got mine

this thing looks so small to hold..

Because I'm waiting for Odin Lite, Retroid Pocket 3, or AYA Neo Air.

I'm heterosexual

Why play the advance ver over the SNES ver?

Waiting for the translucent model to come out

> Original hardware

Fucking BASED.

I have one of these and like it a lot. It's a little weak, but it seems like android based devices are either too big or you're trying to cram phone software into something that isn't a phone.

Why do you OP?

i have a similar but cheaper one. it's preddy nice, no complaints.
i used to just use my phone, but i really wanna press buttons.

7 year year android phone stashed in plastic shell with poor quality buttons and d pad, overly quiet speaker and bad quality screen
>that will be $199.99 stupid gaijin

I have a hb 3ds, hb vita, GBA SP with flashcart, deck, and now getting an odin (soon TM)

Why would I buy that shit to play gba games?

No need

Based.

>canadian red wii
Nintendo's attempt to halt piracy on the wii

>no micro

I bought a Retroid Pocket 2+ the other day and it just kinda sits there lol, still not sure what I want to install on it

I have a phone that can do emulation just fine.

I'm not trans or hipster enough to be that much of a consoomerist tool

>that accessory
jesus christ, are reditors really sinking enough money into this niche industry that companies are willing to dump hundreds of thousands of dollars on products like these?

I'm considering getting one. Looks nice. I don't know how people emulate games on a touch screen honestly. Even a simple game like pokemon feels awful.

this plus I have various gameboys I owned as a child still in good working condition.

i have an anbernic 280v which is literally this with a nicer screen and buttons and better performance

I have a hacked 3ds and a vita
I can play that game natively

that thing has a garbage screen and it's uncomfortable to use one-handed, i got one myself and i still go back to the 280v

if valve can make a tiny 280v sized steam deck that can run a decent number of 2d windows games that's what i'll get

>companies
Let's get real here, the only people dumping money into the production of these machines are the Chinese and that's because they can legally get away with making emulation devices with preloaded games and software.

yeah im not sure why they cheaped out on such a tiny screen, you could easily move the Home/Start/Select and fill the entire area + bezel, those LCD screens arent expensive anymore and havent been for ages

the problem is it's a shitty touchscreen with a ridiculous backlight, the 280v has this lovely glass covering over it that slightly darkens everything

I have a chink knockoff gba that plays the few cartridges I have. I never owned any handhelds after the gba, they just stopped appealing to me.

forgot pic

I have the 351M amd 351P.

Both nice devices but I regret not holding off for that 4:3 aspect ratio device Anbernic released.

The Miyoo is really nice, however.

Gonna buy a Retroid Pocket 2+ in a couple weeks.

I'm just glad I got bored one day and grabbed a NN3DS, hacked the fucker plays everything

I do

The review I saw said it has performance issues with GBA and above, is that the case?

I mean, that is the most effective way to go and the reason why the manufacturers can do so much now with those confines because most of the hard work has already been done years ago by smartphones. You would never be able to do what PC handhelds do and stick a low wattage chip in that chassis without using phone chips to get to that size factor and without smartphones, it would take a good 5 years to get a worse product out the door from a software perspective doing that from scratch.

Because the 3DS exists

Maybe on stock firmware, but I haven't seen anything weird on onion os.

I want to play GBA, PS1 and PSP games. The DS can play GBA and NDS games, obviously, but I want an all-in-one. Clearly a single screen can't play NDS, but I want the playstation shit, maybe Sega Saturn.
Retroid Pocket seems good for this but what else is there?

This. Tiny cramped handheld.

I would buy pic related, but most of these chinese handhelds have those shitty sticks the joycons have and they feel god awful.

My friend's birthday is next month, his Steam Deck won't arrive until Q3 so he wants some cheap portable
Do I get him a 3ds or one of these chink handhelds?
If so which one is the best?

What is this I want one

I literally just bought one.

For emulating Nintendo stuff the Ayn Odin seems to be amazing for the price. For PC games on the go, the Steam Deck is still the best.

Is it less than 100$?

i don't play older games, i just new games released this or last year.

can it emulate elden ring?

200 for the Lite model

Just received mine a couple days ago and I love it. Been playing some earthbound for an hour or so before bed. Granted I don't have huge hands, but it isn't as uncomfortable as people say. Playing one handed feels good too, at least with earthbound.

My only gripe is the battery life.

Because I have something better

>200
That's half the price of a Deck
That's the same price as a used Switch

THE SMACH Z??!!

pov: you're retarded

lmao the fuck is that basterdized steam controller thing

If your budget is low, then your only option is chinkshit. Even used 3DSs are quite expensive, at least if they're in good condition

Because it's not yellow and powered by a hand crank.

this, also a odroid go for fun

Attached: GO-88.gif (350x385, 404.81K)

Screen buttons are horrible.

Retroid Pocket 2+ or Miyoo Mini 2?
I want to play GBA, PSP, PS1, SNES, Genesis, MAME and Turbografix.

Holy shit how did you get a Smach Z?

But which chinkshit?

Because I don't need a nostalgia boy since I was alive for the shit in the first place. Back to R*ddit with your ilk.
