Master Duel is behind several sets and has a weird mixed-but-favors-the-OCG banlist where some cards like Maxx C and Rhongomyniad are legal.

I actually run her in my Sword Soul, surprisingly easy to summon her with Grandmaster or Ecclesia.

I had a match turn into a 10-turn brick fest because I completely kill a Swordsoul player's attempted recovery combo by using Called By on a discarded Longyuan. They proceeded to draw every single hand trap in their deck but eventually died to another Called By

Master Duel's big mistake isn't being Bo1, that's perfect for an online (and mobile if you're a sadist) game. It's being Bo1 with Ranked being the only available mode to play with other people 90% of the time.

My suggestion was an alternate matchmaking Time Wizard format, where the era could rotate every so often. Seems like it'd offer some nice variety beyond just having the occasional event.
I also asked them to let daily missions be cleared with surrendered games, and to add a sorting option for effect types like LOTD has.
Of course I doubt anyone will actually read it, let alone influence any decisions, but can't hurt to try.

That's fucking yugioh though, games take some time. The quality of matches in best of one is severely shit. Problem isn't even with the game state itself, it's the timers and the animations. And thankfully they listened to the players (albeit it took them forever) and sped up animations. 3 Minutes per turn is all you should need or deserve.
