Always, but if the game in question isn't even being sold anymore you have no excuse not to do so.

Is unethical not to torrent them, even if you don't have the hardware to play them it is your duty to seed them.

sigh only zoomers would seek validation for something like pirating.

fuck Nintendo

fuck Nintendo

it is always ethical to do whatever you want.
it is the only way to live.

it's ethical to lock you in prison

Ethical? Yes. Shit's a dead platform soon, anyway.

Yes, it's actually fun and cool to steal from large corporations and you should do it often.

It's unethical to buy Nintendo games

i miss freeshop

/thread

Yes. Fuck scalpers trying to profit by charging exorbitant prices for old games.

>club nintendo picross
nice, but theres a plus version that is nearly the same game with just more content added at the back end. though there are a handful of levels actually changed for whatever reason.

I can't play "My Nintendo Picross The Legend Of Zelda Twilight Princess". I install the .cia from zipperoo and I always have this message when I launch the game.

>Is it ethical
Are they available right now to purchase?
No.
Are they not available right now to purchase?
Yes.
Do you need to make this thread all the time?
No.
Why would Pirates care about ethics.

just wait for the switch 2 at this point. they'd have to be dumb not to make it backwards compatible, but it is nintendo so...

That thing has like, 20 puzzles or fewer.

If it's free, it's worth it.

Sure, it's totally ethical to pirate Nintendo games because good games are meant to be played regardless of your income. However, buying a Playstation is both a crime and a sin.

Isn't the Switch 2 basically a suped up Switch with tensor cores per the leaks? I'm sure it will be fine.

Why do you need validation on this? No it's not ethical to pirate or steal. It'll never be ethical but if you can't buy the games anymore then you can pirate. Still not right but fuck it if you can't buy it legally.

>its ethical to torrent
yes
>its ethical to sell pirated/bottleg/used games
no

I want to get a DS but I don't know which one to get, help

>download a zipfile containing every nes, snes, gb, and gba game
>cause millions of dollars of lost profit
the fire rises

dsi for beautiful screen
DS Lite for rumble pak, pokemon transfer, and tilt fucition via the GBA slot.

>download it again every day
>all of the companies go bankrupt

Morality doesn't exists.

It's a frame of reference problem. There's no objective frame of reference, so something can't be objectively right or wrong.

/thread

back when the 3ds was actually relevant we downloaded games straight from nintendo's own servers for free, fucking rip freeshop

>dsi for beautiful screen
no, DSi XL. the DSi colors are crap

no one cares

>Is it ethical to torrent games?
Fixed and always

Attached: 1635044836954.jpg (1080x1175, 66.96K)

fuck nintendo

You should always pirate games.

get another cia

can I play 3ds games on the dsi? or do I need to get a 3ds for ultimate compatibility?

Why the fuck is a New 3DS or New 2DS so expensive? I just want a cool portable emulator machine

>minimum wage violations
what is that?

Piracy isn't stealing but I really wish it was.

Nintendo are being shit heads in refusing to just put emulators on the Switch and put ALL their previous titles on the e-shop and then have the balls to shut down older stores making it impossible to get older games.
Fuck them, torrent and pirate the shit out whatever you want.

Not paying the minimum wage, effectively stealing money from the employee by not paying him for the work he's done. Slavery.

Moms gonna freak!

>employer theft
>auto theft
>3 billion
what the fuck?

Not only it is ethical, it's also a right and an obligation

If the employee agreed to that informal contract, I don't see how it's theft, sounds like ideology bullshit

Whatever you want to do, whether it is to pirate it or to pay for it, is ethical, because you want to do it.

Attached: spook.png (220x229, 12.91K)

If you work 40 hours and are only paid for 39 that's wage theft

If your boss just shaves 10 minutes off of your check, or quietly lowers your pay after agreeing to the previous rate.
Also the classic of making workers do stuff after clocking out.
All of these are simple ways to pay your employees less.
If they cant afford a lawyer they literally cant stop you. It's free money.

still illegal. Not to mention they typically underpay migrants who either don't know the law or are in a position that could lead them to be deported.
Paying below minimum wage effectively lowers the value of everyone else's work, and the typical "stealing our jobs" arguments can be resolved by ensuring everyone is paid the amount they are legally obligated to.

If it isn't for sale, then it isn't piracy.
That being said...

Attached: preview.png (400x480, 301.76K)

i never pirate nintendo games anymore. i always make sure to get a copy and put it in a clean tupperware container until i'm ready to ship out my batch to get them graded.

how many fucking picross games are there

not enough
>picross e1-9
>picross 3D
>picross 3D Round 2
>picross DS
>Pokemon Picross
>Twilight Princess Picross
>Pictologia Final Fantasy
>Club Nintendo Picross
>Club Nintendo Picross Plus
>this is all the native 3DS and DS games
>Picross S1-6(so far)
>Picross Sega
>Picross Overlord
>Picross Kemono Friends
>those are all the switch games i think
>Pokemon Picross (not to be confused with the one above, the GBC had an unreleased, fully finished pokemon picross game that got leaked in that giga leak a while back
>Marios Picross (Gameboy)
>Marios Super Picross (SNES)
>Marios Picross 2 (Gameboy)
>Picross NP Volume 1-8 (series of SNES Picross games exclusive to japan that you could download through the Nintendo Power magazine)
theres also a sanrio picross i dont have yet
and two satella view but im not going to bother with those

It doesn't stop it from being illegal, stupid. This is like arguing that raping a child is okay because they consented.

>user immediately thinks of fucking children
I might agree with the first part of your statement, but comparing the two things makes me think you need help.

What are your favorite less known 3DS/DS games? I want to try new shit.

I’m for sure hacking my 3DS when the e-shop goes down. I did the same thing with my PSP when it went obsolete. At this point it doesn’t matter. They don’t support the hardware and most of the games you’d need to buy second hand anyway. It’s not like they’re losing money by me pirating instead. That being said, what’s the easiest way to do a 3DS hack these days? I haven’t fucked about hacking something since the pspiso.com days.

If the new switch could also play 3DS/DS games it would be amazing.

it's illegal for the company to offer such an informal contract

Just remember to pay for it latter if you like it.

Cars are expensive

Nintendochad since the 90s here to say this: Based Iwata wanted you to "pirate". The whole deal with the Wii was the VirtualConsole getting people to recognize old IPs. Without emulators like Nesticle and others many people would have never played some of the classics. The NES and SNES minis are entirely designed to avoid license fees so you can inject whatever games you want.

Currently Nintendo is sadly all business.

So I highly encourage you to make a master archive of all classic games and consoles and enjoy what you want. Even Nintendo today doesn't sell games and use the "free" Online service. Personally I have no interest in paying $5 for a fucking ROM.
