So, user...

So, user, what is the last game you trully enjoyed and actually managed to finish without dropping it after 4 hours and calling it piece of shit?

Hard mode: no indie games

For me it's Darkest Dungeon and RDR2 1 year ago

Elden Ring and I bought and beat Sekiro on sale recently.

Elden Ring, so pretty recently. I still enjoy games.

I have 300 hours in Elden Ring and I'm planning an Arcane character for my next run.

Elden Ring

Elden Ring, Metroid Dread before that.

Summoners war
for a mobile game it has a surprising amount of depth
for four niggas in a row genre its really neat

outside of the elden shit tranny botposting a real answer:

Risk of Rain 2
Deep Rock Galactic
Dyson Sphere Program

ELDIN RING

Cyberpunk 2077

You asked for the 'last game', which would mean it would LIKELY be recent
You then put a soft limitation on indie games (Because playing on anything but hard mode is casual shit)
I don't know what you were expecting. If you want a non-Elden Ring answer from me, then probably Library of Ruina, but that wasn't the 'last' game I completed, and enjoyed.
People are probably going to just start saying 'Elden Ring' to spite you, regardless of the answer, though.

Unironically, Elden Ring. Get bent, faggot.

The ER posts are probably legit, it's literally 90% what this board has been posting for the last 2 months.

>can't fathom how that a good game from a beloved franchise Yea Forums has been jacking off since 2011 would have a lot of fans who enjoyed it
kek

Final Fantasy XV

Go to bed, Barry.

I've been locked into the Halo MCC

metroid dread

dropped elden ring after 20 hours

This one.

Remember that shit game with the brown girl & a million party members that tried to mix fighting games combos with turn based combat?

This game did it first & much better.

Metroid Dread

I played elden ring for 100 hours and dropped it, now calling it a piece of shit because I need to make a SL9 mule and collect every item to have a perfect invading profile to do pvp so fuck that. What a waste of time.

I honestly didn't enjoy Elden Ring at all even though I like the other Soulslikes. Not only does it run like shit on PC but it feels exactly like DaS3 but open world which is the worst direction to take the series IMO.

Finished replaying dark souls for the first time since release, enjoyed it much more than the first time.

If you just add up all the legacy dungeons and ignore the open world it's still nearly x2 bigger than DS3.

I beat all of the first 6 Ace Combat games for the first time recently, they fucking rock
especially 4, one of the best games of all time imo

That's a common feeling to DS1, especially if it was your first souls game and you had no idea on most of the mechanics and just hit your head against a wall for every area and boss till you slowly started to learn.

Nice. 6 is my personal favorite.

Black Mesa. Such a Kino game the original doesent hold a candle to it.

Elden Ring

When I say "first 6", I was referring to 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and Zero. I haven't played Ace Combat 6 yet. But I have beaten Project Wingman too, it was good but didn't quite scratch the same itch. Seeing clouds condense on the cockpit glass was fucking incredible the first time I saw it, though.

Elden Ring

>it feels exactly like DaS3 but open world which is the worst direction to take the series IMO
I actually agree with both of these points, but I still liked the game. Some criticism is still in order though. The open world is a shit direction to take and I'm afraid of what it will mean for the future of souls games. I much preferred Sekiro and its direction it took and would've liked that to be their standard for new games. Judging by sales numbers though, that ship has most likely sailed.

It was fun at release because everyone was in the boat and figuring it out together.
It is nice to have several comprehensive wiki's now. And actually understanding stats and scaling helps.
I thing the biggest part was just going for a strength zweihander build this time. Got to love that overhand wafflemaker.

post the one with the ribbon on her arm

Definitely check out 6 if you get a chance then. I kind of hate that it was a 360 exclusive because it limited how many people played it.
People complain about the story but aside from the lesbian roadtrip sub plot they're not that bad.

Resident Evil 1&2 (originals) around Haloween.

After that only coom games.

I do that all the time. I usually have a couple long-term games and one short-term game. I play the long-term games at a relaxed pace without really thinking about beating them.

Just recently I replayed Dark Souls I-III (though I didn't do all of the DLC this time)

It's hard to believe Elden Ring is anywhere near the best in the series but sales figures definitely tell bamco otherwise. I'm just kinda bummed that we were supposed to get a high fantasy style Soulslike game but it was really just more of the same

I only play really old games so it's rare that I play a game that takes more than 4 hours to complete.

FFiv

I enjoyed Dead Rising 2: Off the Record.

Elden Ring

I'm trans btw

Right now: Baldurs gate, saw some user shilling it and gave it a run, but im still not done. before that probably strangers of paradise, i actually completed that game. It really brought me out of a slump that i was in for about 4 months where i couldnt play a game for more than 20 minutes without closing it and being unmotivated. I beat the whole game in 2 days and then did post game for the next 5. First game in a long time that gave me the satisfaction i needed to keep playing, like a hook came out of the controller and embedded in my hands. I havent had that kind of feeling in a long time

Only game I bought this year aswell and even then it started to feel like a chore towards the end

Black Souls 1, played it two years ago. Thought Elden Ring would keep my attention but lost interest after 80 hours.

>pvp
god you're dumb

Tell me you went a mage or atleast multiclassed an arcane user

Probably DMC5

ER is by far the best in terms of combat, the posture breaking system alone makes aggressive play with big weapons far more viable so you can get consistent poise breaks.
youtube.com/watch?v=hX2rM4X3CpE

Also, that fact that you can completely play it as a Thief game and ghost whole dungeons or just stealth-assassinate every enemy, use spells that mask sound and use shard arrows that make noise and attract enemies to where you want them to move.

It was fuckin Minecraft
It's fun with friends
Wasted hours playing with those guys like 2/3months ago
Exams started and haven't played since

>Exams started and haven't played since
Fucking same

Elden Ring, Stranger of Paradise, Ender Lillies 5 minutes ago.

Elden Ring, played it for about 2 months non stop, still do sometimes to LARP as jesus with marika's hammer in coop

SMT4a took me 60 hours to clear and I guess I enjoyed it, that accuracy penalty for apocalypse difficulty can go fuck itself though.

I'm surprised people don't enjoy games on here, thought it was a meme. I just played 3 hours of Tactical Nexus and the last game I finished was NAMTG, which was around 2 weeks ago.
>no indie games
Uh, I think the last game I played that would be considered non-indie was Dark Souls 3, around 3 years ago, which I quickly got filtered by. I'm not sure if I've ever enjoyed a non-indie game actually, unless you count in Minecraft.
Rip man, my exams are in 2 weeks, so, I can still game and not think about them. Good luck user.

Elden Ring

Actually Valkyrie Profile did it first on the PS1

Elden Ring.

Reminder that even if you play 6 you can't finish it because the Ace of Aces finale DLC mission was deleted from the marketplace store.

Ranger-Archer human, no dual class available.

VTM: Night Road. Also, Deep Rock Galactic.

All the DLC got delisted I believe.
If you had it previously it is still there to download though.
If you're emulating I'd assume it shouldn't be an issue.
I keep my old 360 around just to replay ac6 once a year.
