>I'm primarily an Xbox user. I have all of my games digitally, and my console is not my home console. As such I had a brick. Claiming this as a "Major L" is a stretch. I'm not saying it doesn't need to be fixed, or that it isn't a problem. It absolutely is, but this is fringe stuff
why the actual fuck are Xbox users so intent on owning absolutely fucking nothing, and not only that, being happy about it too!!
the only games I own physically are the super robot wars games because bamco will pay for an english translation but they will not pay to sort out the licensing to give them a global release.
So what’s going on? I just got a Series X. No issues with physical game installs or digital ones. Or BC 360 physical (which are just unlock keys for digital version). Discs take longer to install than my internet does to download but that’s because the disc transfer speed is slower than my internet.

just a nothingburger as usual. a few dozen users couldn't paly games for an hour and threw a tantrum.

>Just buy a fucking PC if you want to own nothing pc is literally the only platform where you can own something
Alexander Edwards
feel free to prove me wrong
Julian Scott
Holy shit I thought PS shitters will dial it back down a bit after a few losses but they can't. The only way to make them shut up is killing Sony. No other options are available.
Daniel Sanchez
you also get the option to steal it back if it's taken away from you
What? An overpriced GPU that will be obsolete in 3 years?
Jacob Cook
>feel free to prove me wrong >its ok when sony does it
prove what? that Xbox shits the bed with their DRM policy they ‘dropped’ years ago due to backlash, and the first thing you do is cry SNOY
yeah? proved you a buck thats utterly broken
Easton Phillips
I had no problems either but snoys are trying to blow this up as much as possible because they are salty about GT7.
Carson Stewart
I subscribe to Prime, Netflix and Disney+ but you never see anyone lose their shit over it
>You-You own nothing!!!!
You know why? Because its ADULTS who pay for those. Your MOM and DAD. And they aren't mentally ill. I can only imagine you baffled kiddies are 12 years old and take some kind of demented pride on having lots of worthless tacky video game boxes cluttering up your cum-stenched bedroom like a vagina repellant.
Brody Sullivan
>You know why? Because its ADULTS who pay for those. Your MOM and DAD. And they aren't mentally ill. >arent mentally ill >unironically and literally the place defending the shit out of Microsoft is TrannyERA

Service issues aside, I wish I was all digital. Physical these days is just a plastic case, insert, and disc/cart. In a lot of cases it’s not even the full game and it just becomes a key to play the digital version. The cases they use now are so cheap and brittle and already have holes in them to cut costs. They break if you stack them and storage is becoming a big concern. Having to switch out the game is way less convenient. We modernized our living room and don’t want to have any movies or games on shelves so I have to go into a closet to get games and then pile them up next to the couch.
I picked up a bunch of games digitally over the years for cheap and although they often have very good sales on older games, I’m noticing a trend to sell the base game minus DLC and the DLC isn’t on sale. For example, I have the 360 versions of RDR and New Vegas physical with all their DLC and paid like $5 apiece for them new off an Amazon sale during the holidays years back. But RDR is $30 for the base game digital not on sale. A normal sale could have it $15-$20 but the DLC cost that price also. New Vegas, same. $15 for the game, $3 for couriers stash, $10 for dead money. Digital-only console users don’t have a choice
Justin Edwards
Same is true for PC gamers. They’ve been digital for 15 years now
Kayden Thomas
And people hating GamePass are schizoid seething snoys on a hentai pedo image board for mentally ill socially rejected tweens.
Funny huh?
Michael Lee
And what do they own? Certainly not the games. You’re all in the same boat
Adam Diaz
who exactly can take my pirated games from me?
Jaxson Morgan
Only an idiot would go physical on Xbox, It has DRM and Xbox games are worth nothing. PlayStation games are actually worth something. If you had some games worth $100 you might understand
>starts on the moral highground >degenerates rapidly into buzzwords and mentally ill rambling
the fuck do they put in the water over there, Rajeesh? jesus, sounds like you redeemed
Luke Parker
>another snoy cope thread
James Gonzalez
This is the endgame for all gaming companies, both Sony and Nintendo will eventually commit to this cause.
Luis Foster
Except PC has DRM free games that can be legally purchased/owned and are impossible to revoke once downloaded. Not to mention the possibility to pirate games as well.
James Bell
>Have an account >Put the Xbox account on SeX from my Bone >I can still play Elden Ring/Anything new added on Goypass
>Buy Disc of Videogame of Play 4 >Put on Play 5 >Doesnt work
>Buy game on PC >Goes slog, close itself, I cant play it >Cant redeem it cause its a phisical copy
You never owned anything and will never do, I could hypotetically go to your house steal your shit, burn your house and kill you, your xbox account would still be there do. Owning stuff is a concept for materialistic people. Yes I own an Xbox, I own some toys from a long time ive not used, and I passed them over to other people (family/church) you dont need to own more than the stuff you use to live. B-b-but inversions. Yea, is videogames an inversion? Are you going to win money from it user? "Reselling" to? A lot of rent a game have fallen, and a lot of people will pirate it instead. Again, your point?I understand that its a bait post or a schizo thinking that globohomos will kill him or some shit. But come on. Who they fuck actually cares meanwhile you play cool vidya, with your friends?
Juan Baker
Keep seething and I'll keep playing the hundreds of games on GamePass. Looking forward to Starfield and more of your screeching.
Game Pass is literally the best deal in gaming right now.
Sebastian Ramirez
Luckily I don't... Amazing concept, I'm old school, haven't had a PC since 2013, never owned a smartphone. I'm a real gamer, just give me a Console without DRM and a disc drive and I'm good. I have a vast physical media library
Brayden Wright
Even if you go offline mode you'll still need to authenticate your licences every 30 days, I fucking hate this trash heap. GOG is the only way to go.
Nicholas Lewis
yeah right are you browsing Yea Forums on your Playstation retard?
Justin Myers
it needs to check you actually own the game every time you open it not just goypass games but all of them it's an "always online" console and that' annoying as fuck and the PS5 is not much better on this regard btw this gen sucks testicles
Thomas Nguyen
Believe what you want to believe. I'm console only. Used to post from Yea Forums on Wii U,and PS4 but on PS3 you can post images,

Xbox cucks are the biggest shit gobblers and spunk swallowers in the industry. Simple as.
Nathaniel Barnes
>Trust me, bro, I'm definitely posting this from a PlayStation and not from a computer or a phone >I'm not saying this because I'm trying to save my face from embarrassment because I contradicted myself
What are you gonna do when the Internet shuts off? You still rely on the internet, it's bas DRM
Christian Robinson
Rare doesnt even know what Everwild is at this point, the idea that it is going to be out in two years is pure fantasy. Likewise, Avowed, Perfect Dark, State of Decay 3, and Fable are in dev hell. Redfall and Grounded are just more GAAS GoyimPass shit that everyone will forget about in 2 weeks like Bleeding Edge. Gears 6, the franchise is dead.
MS can buy studios but there is no evidence they can manage development of major projects.
Isaac Carter
As someone who has a Series X, the DRM shit is absolutely horseshit. It's absurd that they're still so fucking weird about it because I wager if MS or the publishers did ANY research into whether DRM saves money (via "preventing" piracy), they'd find it does nothing of the sort. My honest to god hope is that they back out of it soon but I don't see that happening
Chase Clark
>and my xbox was set as my home xbox OH that was the outtage that everyone is talking about? That was literally one night I can't believe we're talking about that almost a week later. People are fucking soft now I remember month long outtages on other platforms in the past.
Lincoln Martin
>t. tech illiterate PC gamers can back up many DRM free games. There are too many DRM free games in Steam too. The steamdeck allows them going into offline mode indefinitely.
Meanwhile, when the internet shuts off, the consolefags are fucked cuz most games on PS4/5 do need Day 1 patch and more to run properly.
Genuinely convinced most of the conversation around Xbox is Microsoft paid shills and astroturfers. There is literally nothing to be excited about Xbox at moment. Nothing. Halo infinite was the worst halo made, gears is irrelevant now that a waymens is the lead character, forza is a reskin of the last 5 that came before it, all the other studios Microsoft own are stuck in development bell. Starfield will come out a rushed buggy incomplete mess with more micro transactions and dlc than you’ll know what to do with and that’s assuming it comes out this year. Even if the activision deal closes COD will remain multiplatform and blizzard is never coming back to the glory days.
It’s not that Xbox is a bad console it’s just that it’s boring and being an entertainment device that’s boring is the worst thing it could possibly be.
>Halo Infinite getting an 87 literally 15 points too high
Robert Mitchell
>t. increasingly nervous snoy
Austin Hall
what is a 'major L'?
Jayden Torres
PS5 has more games on disc with final code, and we can backup our hdd so all our updates are intact if need be. You will never own anything, your games will never be worth anything. I can take PS5 anywhere, most Steam games don't allow offline modes, and you agreed to the terms of service, they can take away your games, or close down Steam. Anything can happen, giving all your rights away to a company like Valve is nothing to be proud of. Just like MMicroshart, Valve is just waiting for the moment to flip the switch, maybe 10 years from now but it's inevitable. PS5 will always be able to play the games just like a real console should. Your terms of service will continue to change and your rights dwindle. PS5 is the only way to be free and safe
Julian Torres
>t.corporatebootlicker jesus fuck, are you for real, did you really just suck Phils dick and swallow every last drop for us all to see? just fucking WOW
Gavin Watson
I had been paying for Ultimate Game Pass for more than a year. The two night blackout was enough to make me realize that I wasn't getting anything out of it and immediately cancelled that shit. Halo sucks balls and Fortnite doesn't require live. Thank you, Xbox.
James Wright
>I like owning things I just love having things like my funko pops and ny epic collectors editions
Bought and paid for reviews mean nothing to me, and based on the lack of sales of those games, the average consumer Normie as well. Everyone knows halo infinite isn’t a 10/0 and we all know why deathloop got the review scores it did. Don’t play stupid with me here xcuck.
lol lmao, even Steam lets you launch in offline mode, and you can save your games to multiple hard drives if you're that worried about the internet going down.
Jacob Lopez
>I just like owning nothing I just love not having things I think big corporations should own everything and individual people should have no rights
Couldn't give a shit really. Had a ps4 last gen and went with the series x this gen. No regrets. Can't wait til the xbox/bethesda games showcase. Most excited to see starfield but there's a handful of other games I look forward to seeing more of. Last year they had the best showcase hands down. I'm expecting the same this year. Snoys get to enjoy replaying bloodborne and god of war for the fifth time while microsoft pumps out first party exclusives coming to gamepass day one to look forward to.
Luke Diaz
>you don't HAVE to own the game The absolute state of Microcucks and Valvedronians. I guarantee these were the faggots making PS4 Cmos threads a year ago. Hypocrites get the digital rope
>people are still using the 10 series to this day >to achieve similar results to console performance You act like every PC gamer needs the graphics to be maxxed out with 120 fps at all times. A fucking 1080 from 2016 STILL competes with Series X and Pissfuck 5
