If Elden Ring was a proper RPG, instead of a braindead combat simulator:
>”Wait, Morgott! We both want to restore the Elden Ring and stop the other demigods! We have no reason to fight!“ >*Morgott sheathes weapon* >Speech increased to 55! >New governance area unlocked: Leyndell
Morgott would've pretended do sheathe his weapon only to backstab you like the filthy pillager you are. The point can be made however with Malenia however.
Adrian Cook
Go back to skyrim trash
Elijah Wood
If Elden Ring was a Bioware RPG, instead of a braindead combat simulator: > >”Wait, Morgott! We both want to restore the Elden Ring and stop the other demigods! We have no reason to fight!“ >*Morgott unsheathes dick* >Paragon rating increased to 55!
Cameron Scott
>Trusting an omen Shiggy Diggy my Niggy.
Isaac Price
No. As much as I like Morgott, he would never, ever ever ever ever ever let you burn the Erdtree down. He is as much of a Golden Order simp as Radagon and Goldmask. Even if you managed to somehow convince him that not all tarnished are opportunistic usurpers.
Aaron Sullivan
>be some sort of fanatical zealot monstrosity which guards the tree >some random guy comes to you and says he wants to burn the tree to "make everything right" >you agree This is Bioware tier writing
Austin Hall
>Filthy omen allying with a foul tarnished I don't think so
Robert Long
OP is an idiot, but there were legitimate parts where I wished we had proper interactions with demigods. You're supposed to be a servant of Rykard or Mohg when you join the pvp factions, but they just attack you when you finally meet them.
John Morris
>tarnished/morgott most popular pairing on AO3 >morgott is also the second most popular character wtf i love china now
If Elden Ring was a proper RPG, I would be able to murder Ranni and throw the pieces of her doll corpse into Mt. Gelmir.
Jose Russell
DLC will allow that
And you can actually attack Ranni at multiple points in her quest, prompting unqieu reactions
Grayson Miller
cute So many problems would be solved if the demi-god families weren't so disfunctional.
Dylan Kelly
sorry but the skeleton proves there is no female tarnished. male skeleton = male character. youre jacking off to tranny porn.
John Hill
I will. It's a superior rpg that is still played 11 years after the release. Meanwhile Elden Ring discussion is dead after two months aside from bait threads.
This gameplay belongs to another genre. Elden ring is shit, but its not shit because you cant avoid senseless enemies.
Liam Parker
>actually attack Ranni at multiple points in her quest, prompting unqieu reactions Believe me, I tried. But everytime she has that shitty blue barrier up.
Gavin Cooper
this is one of the most horrible things I've read.
Also, why the fuck would Morgott team up with the killer of his siblings, who was instructed by the GW to kill ALL demigods?
This is something that makes me think. In one hand, I love Ranni and I agree with her point of views But in other, she ruined Morgott's life the moment she murderer his elder brother, setting a big chain of events. Morgott would easily be content with watching his brother and his mother and father reign while supporting them from the shadows despite his Omen nature, but he wasn't allowed even that.
Elijah Flores
>keep hitting her >she eventually disappears I just wanna kill her so badly
Even worse, Marika herself endorses the killing of her children if they don't amount to anything in the end, she says it herself, that they should fight and pursue their ambitions to become gods or lords, but if they fail at that, they are worth only as sacrifices.
Ethan Bennett
Did morgott ever figure out she was behind godwyn's murder?
It's not an endorsement, just a stating of the facts Whoever among her children doesn't become the new Lord, or God for the Empyreans, are going to get murdered by the winning candidate for their great runes
Christopher Gomez
>Wait, Morgott! We both want to restore the Elden Ring and stop the other demigods! We have no reason to fight! >... Wilful traitors, all. Thy kind are all of a piece. Pillagers. Emboldened by the flame of ambition. Have it writ upon thy meagre grave: Felled by King Morgott! Last of all kings!
You were never a servant of Rykard, the entire point of the Volcano Manor is tricking strong Tarnished into getting fed to him in order for the serpent to get stronger.
Jace Powell
She's a great mom if anything for knowing exactly what the little bastards were going to do the moment she carked it
Xavier Martin
Fuck off, Todd.
Isaac Hill
Even as a servant, the areas you fought through were off-limits to you, especially entering your master's chambers without permission. You were acting in a hostile way and they reciprocated the hostility.
Andrew Myers
>AHH MORGOTT PLEASE STOP ATTACKING, I JUST WANNA HELP
>Mogh You were explicitly told to not go to the Moghwyn palace until summoned >Rykard You're not supposed to find the secret passage, once you've proven your worth, you will be allowed an audience with Rykard, which by the way is a vore session.
Cooper Ortiz
You didn't understand the lore
Luis Wright
That sounds fucking stupid
Cooper Adams
You're talking about it right now
Easton Peterson
If a Tarnished tries to abandon the goal, they lose their Grace, which would make for a file-deleting difficulty mode of obnoxiousness. Also, the Erdtree path is blocked and Morgott likely wouldn't approve of the means to open it. Really, even beyond stoking the forge, killing Maliketh is a douche move to the guy.
Oliver Perry
>You're supposed to be a servant of Rykard or Mohg when you join the pvp factions No you weren't. Rykard unironically planned to eat you and you beat him down in retaliation, which actually fits their group's principles. As for Mohg, you were never supposed to enter his palace and doing so was a hostile gesture. Most of all, you're literally tricking them so you can take their Great Rune in your pursuit to become Elden Lord.
Sure, you don't get a choice in that narrative, but acting like they had no reason to attack you is just plain ignorance on your part.
Ryan Rivera
Why do cuckolds keep making threads like this?
Grayson Rodriguez
By the time you're granted a session with him you are way stronger than he is because you go to mountaintops of the giants
Isaiah Ward
You were always meant to ultimately join Rykard’s VAMILYYYY through his jaws, bro. That was the entire point, cultivating strong champions to become Rykard’s snacks.
Jayden Brown
honestly lack of covenants was ER's biggest mistake
I like ER for what it is, but I always felt that the player character being a Tarnished has very specific connotations in-universe that limits the scope of what you're actually "allowed" to be in the story. From your allegiances and how the characters would view you etc.
Compare that to say, Bloodborne where the only narrative rule imposed on your character is that you're a Hunter.
>arrive in Caelid >Radahn's soldiers, who have no reason to fight any human, do not attack you and reward you whenever you help a patrol fight off a giant dog or bird
(If any loremasters actually know of a reason why Radahn's soldiers attack you please let me know, it seems like every other enemy has a reason)
