Asheron's Call had three human races on launch. Vaguely Northern European, Vaguely Middle Eastern, and Japanese.
Only after years did they add some fantasy races, but they were things like smoke-shadow people, sapient robots, flaming skeletons, some weird looking Lizardmen, Toad from the 90's Mario Bros Movie, and two types of insects.

Should never have been in the Horde as this user said. And they have no reason to remain there. But AZNs wanted their barbie dolls and pretty boys in the Horde. WoW was always a mess from a lore and worldbuilding standpoint.

The irony is that, for a race that came back from the brink of destruction, they have overtaken the Horde playerbase population-wise. Guess BBC is a thing (Big Blood Cock).

Not quite the same, but your race depends on where you start in Guild Wars. So white European in Prophecies, asian Chinese in Factions and sub saharan African in Nightfall.
