Eggman at least got actual level design in his levels, unlike Tails. Every Tails stage feels unbearably phoned in.
Also, Big's stages would be way more fun if the ultimate end goal in each level wasn't getting to Froggy.

Getting the emblem is a fucking pain in the ass though. The tug of war is miserable and I hate it. There's no real incentive to play Big's stages except to either progress through the story, or catch the biggest fish that pulls your line out as fast as you can reel it.
