So I was playing Oblivion again today when I came across pic related for the first time. Weird, I never knew there were minotaurs in this game, how did I miss them for so long? Has anyone else had this happen to them?

tfw no minotaur wife

They don't appear unless you're high level. The way leveling works means players without prior knowledge of the game won't be high level enough until they've played for a VERY long time; in reality most people drop games like this before they reach that point

To clarify; if you pick major skills that correspond with the racial bonuses you actually have, you gain levels much slower because the skills themselves take much longer to increase, so you see much more of the Gameworld at a low level, and miss out on level-gated enemy spawns. Also happens in general if you take magic skills (other than alchemy) as manor skills, as those just take forever to level in general

They were always there but due to retarded level scaling, will never show up until you hit a certain level

wow that's crazy. Maybe they were always there and you just didn't see them?

tail looks like a penis

You really just have to cheese the leveling system if you don't want your patience tested

thinking about post-ironically replaying oblivion, what's the best way to cheese the level system that doesn't involve beating the game at level 1

probably find some mod that lets you adjust it all, i remember shit like that existing 15+ years ago so im sure its still around/even better.

Not gonna bother with modding this playthrough because it honestly isn't worth the effort for a casual stroll through all the areas.

would take like 5 minutes and if you're goin to do a full playthrough thats a few hours, if not dozens of hours depending on how thorough you are. take the time to look up and install a few mods if you want good level scaling at ALL cause it doesnt exist in the normal game. your only choice is to pick skills you can level up easily or modding your character using console commands. downloading mods is easier.

They already have a penis, or at least some kind of protrusion in place of one
I wish there was a mod out there to give the minotaurs proper penises without being blatantly pornographic, it just doesn't feel right that there would be nothing down there

Try Ascension. It's a pretty vanilla friendly overhaul that gets rid of the scaling. It's just an install and start sort of thing unless you add the author's add-ons which are also incredibly easy to install.

Based bot/schizo poster, it's been too long.

Why are Dumner wonen into necrophilia?
It is the only time Dumner men get stiff.

So I was browsing Yea Forums today and I came across this thread for the 5th time, has anyone else had this happen to them?

console commands, or get the mod that always gives you +5 attribute level ups

hey evrbody whats up I can't believe they filtered it

Aren't there a circle of them surrounding the unicorn?

They are a higher level enemy but get largely replaced by ogres after you get past a certain level. After that, they only pop up as a guaranteed spawn on a small part of the world map and never in dungeons.

do they moo?

how do their legs even work? seems like they have all their weight supported directly on their knees, instead of transferring it into the ground

god, imagine the female minoutaurs

Remember when I played it at release, got expelled from the Fighter's Guild and got a quest to get bear pelts for readmittance, so I went to look for bears for hours until realising they don't even spawn at my level. One of the reasons I dropped the game soon after, sort of killed all the roleplay

Jesus, the cock on that thing.

Hey, thank you for this user. I've been feeling a new playthrough and didn't know this was a thing.

>reposting the same thread hundreds of times over the course of years
How are you doing, bud? Need someone to talk to?

>newfags genuinely replying to the Minotaur schizo
Sasuga, fags

Just install Oblivion Scaling Unclusterfucked and forget about it. It makes it so that enemies scale with you for only a little bit but you actually, properly outscale enemies so you actually get stronger over time instead of getting bodied by rats

Do you post this shit yearly or monthly

You could just put the game on easy difficulty if you can't build a character properly. You don't need to download a mod that does it for you just to avoid feeling bad about having to turn it down your self.

OSU also does changes to loot tables so higher tiers of armor don't drop off bandits and random chests, and prevents stupid shit like the game's scaling folding in on itself and spawning like thirty boss-tier enemies on top of each other because you started the main quest at level 20+.

Ice cream?

Are there any Oblivion mods that change every copy/paste mud cave to actually be fun to explore

Obliviom was my first elder scrolls.
I was a fucking die-hard oblivion fanboy until I played Morrowind.
Oblivion is great because of the faction quests and the side quests, but Morrowind is also great because of how fucking weird it is.
The oblivion soundtrack is just a tiny bit better than morrowind's.
Shivering isles was great and I wish it wasn't sold as DLC. It wasn't a full expansion like bloodmoon, but damn it was full of so much weird crazy shit that was a nice contrast to the standard fantasy rpg stuff.
Both games start out extremely slow but the bullshit level scaling kinda ruins oblivion at some points. I know it can be modded out and stuff, but just comparing the vanilla games, I gotta say morrowind is better.

I fucking love these minotaur threads. It's the Krogan cock of Yea Forums.

max out endurance as soon as possible
you can take your time on everything else
on higher levels enemies will become damage sponges so you need to use paralysis along with mashing R1

human bros
how can we compete?

I fucking love these threads

its been happening for years, not months, lurk more
idk why people even respond, i guess this place is filled with nothing but newfags

I respect him.

WTF

You made this exact thread a couple weeks ago

so true

>skyrim removed main skills because bethesda is a bunch if incompetent retards who don't know how to make a fucking D&D like RPG system

>catched

Where would you draw the line of it being pornographic? An erection? Jiggle physics?

Stop posting the same post every so often

you know modders would give them a circumcised

Reminds me of an ancient oblivion video of a guy showing off his carriage mod or something running over animals that had erect penises, got questioned, said it was for immersion. Video is gone now.

>They don't appear unless you're high level
Well that explains it. I never level my character.

The way we always do.
Kill everything that makes us insecure and erase all records of its existence until the only remaining reference to it at all is vague mentions in stories and myths peddled by old-timers, which quickly fall into obscurity.

i swear i've seen this exact thread not too long ago
with as one of the first responses

same, about a year and a half ago
maybe it's a psyop

I liked Tortuga's comic with the femboy getting mindbroken by a minotaur.

one of /tesg/'s skyrim mods has anatomically correct minotaurs
