Warframe is like Yea Forums. Pace you start you can't quit. As someone with 4k hours in the game across two consoles the first thing to worry about is finishing your star chart, after that get to mastery rank 15(no content gating at that point) from there do your syndicates, then get into the gameplay loop of being fucked in the ass by sitting in trade chat and warframe market until you have all the slots you could ever want then the game actually opens up

Power creep of what? 2 arcanes from 5 years ago shit on every build option available, 2 free kit gun options entirely shit on the kuva nukor and tenet cycron. The kuva zarr performs 22% less effectively than the branma, and a nikana zaw is the highest damage/dps weapon in the game and that's ignoring the fact that a 6 year old warframe absolute dwarfs every other meta option for regular play

I never played this game. What is a warframe and why do they have boobs?

Just don't. I put a lot of time (600+ hours), and it's not worth it. Getting rivens and getting tons of plat and getting the primes is nice and all at first, but you quickly realize the only thing you actually do is pimp your warframe fashion out— and even then it's super limited. I'll come back if they add breast and butt sliders (since that's all this game is good for) but until that day, I won't play again.

I think the only powercreep the game has really is how OP explosive weapons are right now. Typically I disagree with nerfs but clearly AoE explosive weapons are way overtuned atm. I'd like to see them just make Hunter Munitions not apply to AoE attacks from launchers and bows, I think it would be a fair fix.

The game's still fun and I enjoy it because I used to be an mmofag, but I don't have time to poopsock wow anymore and that game is terrible anyway. Found WF a couple years back, and it fills that grind itch I had without being overbearing.

Why the fuck are sorties after profit taker? Who the fuck actually does arbs for mods? It's literally faster to farm prime parts and trade for the ones you need.

Don't, unless you like tons of repetitive and trivial grind. The only semi challenging content in the game is essentially a boss rush speed run you can do every other hour with a very rigid team comp or you can stay in missions for hours in order to level up mobs to the point where they one (well, two) shot you.
I really can't recommend it unless you just want to waste time.

I played about 500 across a few binges some years ago. Each return was shorter than the last. When I first started the game was pretty easy to figure out. Each time I came back there was more content fluff that distracted and brought more grinding with it. The fluff wasn’t very good either. So I felt even further “behind” and had tedious shit to slog through to get going. I couldn’t even imagine starting fresh, now. Probably a fucking mess to sort everything out. Either use your time for something more productive or something more fun.

Because unlike retards like you people pair it with viral or corrosion to kill large groups of enemies in seconds. Mean while the Ignis and ignis wraith are permagimped by having innate heat and stops working when enemies get to level 60+

in steel path slash + viral is a hard requirement for most weapons because of ridiculous bloated hp pools and high armor

its explained in the quests, just play it you'll find out. Don't get spoiled the cinematic quests in this game are pretty good (except The New War which was still good but kinda a let down)

Not the poster you're replying to, but what? Ignis Wraith works fine in steel path. Maybe it falls off if you do 40 rounds of disruption in a row but it's fine if you're not doing that.

Sure it works but there are several more reliable options that kill faster and last longer. Several of each options are easier to get and are far easier to mod

everyone is just going to tell you to use either kuva bramma or kuva zarr, the most unfun meta shit in the game. They're so hilariously overpowered compared to everything else its not a surprise they're by far the most popular weapons in the game.

Haven't play in years. Is the endgame still going to survival/defense missions and stand on one spot for 3 hours cycling through shit rewards until you get what you want?

depends on what you consider the endgame. Tridolons and Orb Mothers are still probably the most difficult and rewarding content, but the new Zariman missions are actually pretty tough as well Steel Path is pretty hard too and rewards very good arcanes. The problem with Steel Path is its actually too hard for a conventional playstyle on most frames and requires you to instead switch your mods to a shield gating build (basically, DE made a terrible mistake last year and changed it to where you cannot get one shot though shields, which sounds like a good thing until the community min-maxs and abuses it so now high shields and high armor are completely useless).

Tbqh I think DE is starting to make more difficult endgame content but its going to take a while before they balance it properly.

I'm just getting into steel path and this is my Sporelacer build. I feel like it does no damage and takes like 7-8 shots to kill some of the elite grineer units. I plan on moving Lethal Momentum to the exlius slot if the weapon is good, but man it doesn't feel like it out damages my tiberon prime w/ viral and hunter munitions. Yeah yeah know my mods aren't maxed but I still feel like it should be doing better than it is.

It has the most fun customization system in vidya.
It also has somehow the best monetization scheme in any modern f2p game, I spent 120€ in platinum/skins and almost all of that was spent on cosmetics, and I ended up making double the platinum I bought by just selling stuff. Not once did I feel the actual need to purchase platinum for progressin, just cosmetics.
The devs are retards who don't play their own game.

I'm just getting into steel path how am I supposed to have the arcanes that drop from steel path. Do arcanes really buff damage that much? Is corrosive bad now? I really haven't played since like 2019 where everything ran corrosive.
