M&KB is superior in EVERY genre except simulation autism that requires a precise replica of whatever it's simulating.
Mouse is so far ahead of any kind of touchpad/dpad/stick control that it's not even competing on the same planet.

I was gonna say the PS controller, but I guess it only means the first Dualshock, so I guess in that case I would try to get used to the Xbox controller. I could tolerate playing 2D games with a stick, and I would prefer to have the trigger type back buttons instead of the flat Dualshock ones

Dual shock 2 doesnt have analog triggers so that is out.

It really is only mouse keyboard. Not ideal for stuff like platformers but you can play a wider variety of games than anything else.
