Mega Demondrugs are much harder to craft though, at least in old MH games. Most of the time I don't even bother with it because it's only +3 true raw.

Also isn't the limping % like 15% HP or something? Using traps is like cutting the monster's life by 1/5 for no effort

working backwards, in Rise pale extract is free, in worldborne it's not needed, and in classic it's behind a fucking khezu where you can stack it without even trying. Also, I said caps are fine, so the 1/5 hp argument is something I agree with you on. Wasting items instead of fighting *during* the hunt is the issue, not at the very end.

In addition, demon-anything isn't necessary so the only real point is stop wasting time with the seeds and just hit the lizard. Mega is just a stop-gap so isabelle can get a buff yet stop wasting time.

Not him but probably so they can continue picking up field items on the way to the monster and let autocraft top,off the inventory. I do the same thing by only bringing 6 of nullberries, andidotes, or honey. The savings stack up over time of you're stocking 1 or 2 less items every hunt.
