So I'm a newfaggot when it comes to the Halo franchise. Watched the show on a whim and I really like it. I know diehard Halo fans dislike it for obvious reasons but me personally I thought the show seemed pretty dope. I was convinced to pick up the MCC Collection and I finished Reach and now I'm halfway through CE and I'm having an absolute blast! I never played the Halo games in my childhood because I already owned a PS2/Gamecube/PC back then and owning a third console like the Xbox would be overkill so I basically skipped the Xbox family of consoles. But now I'm able to play them on PC and I'm just really enjoying it so far. I regret not ever owning an Xbox and being able to play Xbox Live on Halo. FUCK WHY DID I MISS THE HALO GAMES IN MY CHILDHOOD!!! As a Millennial I look back and literally all of my friends played Xbox live and I was too fucking poor to own an Xbox. Damn shame. But here I am playing Halo in all of it's glory.
I'm a mouse and keyboard kinda guy but I've been playing it with an Xbox controller for authenticity.

The action seemed cool the settings the look, the music was pretty good imho. Nothing too deep or interesting but it was a fun watch nontheless.. I like switching them around.. Original was easy on the eyes and low the Xbox's low-poly aesthetics.. But most of the time I love the remastered graphics.

just play the fucking game and you'll understand the remaster completely tears the player out of the foreign and mysterious alien world on halo, the lighting is fucked and doesnt reflect the game's grim and dark moments, especially the first flood encounter they used the same old polygons from the original game in every single model and lazily replaced them with high res textures, leaving invisible barriers everywhere and making the cutscenes where characters move/speak look awful zero love in this "remaster", 2's was much better

The mission in Halo 3 called 'Cortana' is actually just the 2nd half of Floodgate moved to the end of the game with the skybox changed. Cortana was meant to reuse geometry from Halo 2's High Charity levels and also have Chief fighting Arbiter-Floods in the mausoleum of the arbiter.

Adapt Fall of Reach+Halsey's diary/Halo CE/First Strike/Halo 2/Halo 3 exclusively as they all led into each other, also give Captain Keyes more screentime before getting killed, make Miranda a better character, fix up Truth in H3, make Halsey a character in the original series of events, make Gravemind and Arbiter a character in H3 rather than not really doing much.
There's plenty you could do in a narrative focus medium like tv/film.

The creators made sure it would be as ingenuine as possible, made sure to give the core conflict of humans vs aliens the absolute least focus, added some mystic magical bullshit out of nowhere, and really have just done everything they can to do everything else but adapt any of the strengths of halo. It's garbage and it doesn't deserve any discussion or attention. At least 343 fanfiction tries to be halo. The tv show is obviously just an excuse to shoehorn the shitty story the writers wanted to tell into the halo universe.
