Ganondorf was already plotting to take over the throne, but she basically gave Link the keys to the kingdom and the Sacred Realm, allowing Ganondorf to enter into it and claim a piece of the Triforce for himself.
In Wind Waker, she was a pirate searching for lost treasure, but more importantly missing princesses, and became embroiled in conflict with the evil Ganondorf just moments after Link disappeared under the Tower of the Gods. This basically alerted him to the folly of the Master Sword and the need to awaken its true power, along with the other missing Triforce pieces and the true nature of Princess Zelda's disguise.
In Skyward Sword, Link and Zelda both attend the same school. They love each other, but Zelda is much too frivolous and trivial with Link's emotions, as mentioned by Groose. Even up until she is spirited away by Impa on a quest to save Hyrule from the powers of Demise, she regrets not sharing her feelings with Link earlier, and truly becoming his companion and aid. :^(

Ganondorf was already planning on an insurrection to overthrow the king. Collecting all the spiritual stones and retrieving the Master Sword was meant to be a safeguard against his future attempt. Ganondorf improvised and seized the opportunity. You see him chase Zelda out of the castle, he's already begun by the time Link catches up.

The seal the Seven Sages placed on Ganondorf in Ocarina of Time eventually broke, and Ganon got free. The Golden Goddesses responded to the Hyruleans' prayers and flooded Hyrule to seal him under the waves, but he managed to escape to the surface later anyway. None of this is Zelda's fault.

She encased herself in amber because her body was mortal and she needed to maintain a constant presence to keep Demise's seal intact with holy power. She asked Link to wake her up after he obtained the Triforce and finished Demise off for good, so she wouldn't have to maintain the seal any longer. And given there was a time portal right behind Link, it wasn't really that long for him. You CAN blame her for not telling Link about Hylia's plan to manipulate his emotions to track her down into the most dangerous areas of the world to temper his mind, body, and spirit to be her weapon, which she was complicit with, instead of just directly asking him for help. Link should've been angrier that he was used than he was.

Not really, her job is to guide Link into becoming a Hero. There's the Hero of Time, The Hero of the Winds, the Hero of the Wild etc. That's always been her job.
It's just that Ganon is practically a thorn in her side while she attempts to do this. This was explained in Twilight Princess and Breath of the Wild. That the ancient guardians and divine beasts were preparation for Link's becoming a Champion, but they all failed.

In this case she was a pirate and had her real identity hidden. Her piracy was a thorn in Ganondorfs side though, as you can tell from the opening quest.

They're all downloadable content for the most part.
You can access the content either through a long and storied process of going through your Wii U account and ripping DLC one by one, or getting a copy of the stuff from any private tracker. Either way, there is no utility or legality ensconced in downloadable content being traded, used, or manufactured between people who already own a game so you're pretty safe.
