You can high g turn faster by pulsing your brakes instead of holding them. missiles are on your radar so just pull up, down or a 90 degree turn from their direction and they will miss. Drones are annoying, but they become easier to deal with once you get more maneuverable planes.

I guess, Ace Combat is what inspired Project Wingman. There was a long enough gap between games that some absolute madman went and made a really fucking good game to fill the void where Ace Combat was.

AC7's okay I guess, you could try emulating one of the PS2 games for free, but I think PCSX2 is still struggling to run them properly.

You can run them but they're all missing clouds outside of software rendering. I think AC5 also has the black shadow plane glitch still but you can run a specific version of pcsx2 to fix that.

I played it just last week on the most recent version you just have to enable software mode instead of hardware mode. Also if you play Zero run it in Boot Iso Fast

Is there a point to playing project wingman on gog/steam over the game pass version?
So far all the games I've tried on game pass PC are either neutered base games with a ton of missing dlc or an absolute bitch to mod on top of the Xbox launcher being kinda cancer

Project Wingman is basically Ace Combat 8. Ace 7 and Wingman are both Kino.
