It feels like they put the most effort into Godrick's buildup and presentation, but the others aren't bad actually. They all have about the same level of lore and visual flair behind them, other than Rykard who is talked about by Volcano Manor people but doesn't really feel like he's actually doing much of anything

Presentation and build-up wise I think Radahn got the best treatment. Hearing about how much of a hellish warrior he was and the whole "holding back the stars" shtick really built up his reputation. Was cool to see it in action and watch him effortlessly (at least pre-nerf) wipe out your whole squadron of summons before coming down as a meteor. His OST isn't the best, but is still pretty good imo

Radahn is one of the high points of the entire game for sure. The comet return is easily one of the best things I’ve seen in these games.

Godrick is called a retarded hick by the third npc you meet. He’s irrelevant except for the fact that he ruined Limgrave and hunts tarnished. It’s why Morgott felt the need to guard the front gate of Stormveil with his illusion; he knew Godrick was a turbojobber.

He has a couple of bullshit attacks, but hug his weapon arm and stay aggressive. His tracking can be broken, so test his limits. The worst thing you can do is let him win the DPS race before you stagger him.

He’s waiting until he can eat even more. There isn’t much to eat at the moment. He’s also hiding from Malekith.

Because he’s the only one who hasn’t gone completely and absolutely insane? He is literally the only one doing anything. The rest are husks of their former selves

Godrick was permitted to exist because he is picking off tarnished. He’s unwittingly part of Marika’s plot. He’s there to clean the garbage so it doesn’t get any farther. So was Morgott though it’s unclear how aware he was of Marika’s plot to have Godfrey show up and how he would’ve reacted to that, and whether he was supposed to stand aside and if he would for someone who wasn’t a tarnishedshitter or his siblings.

Offering themselves. Godrick still has loyal subjects. Edgar was one, he apologizes to Godrick if you kill him in Morne. Right before you got there the region was a little more stable, but the Misbegotten made their move on Morne and rebelled as you arrived (also in the mine).

Morgott’s doing exactly what he’s supposed to be doing.

It's basically a Bloodborne fight, don't let up. Attack even after rolls. I still encourage rolling into his attacks, even though he can be particularly good at punishing that.

I never completed Dark Souls 1 but played a TON of it just going back through the beginning of the game. I just don't have the draw to play more Elden Ring. It feels like they're so much stuff in the game but none of it is deep enough to care about.

2nd run with a fresh character is nice in a way.

I feel less compelled to paint the world map to find as much shit as possible and instead focus on just want I want to do, and the occasional random dungeon I come across.

I think they all tried to pull a runner once they saw what was in store for all of them buy made sure to get Rodericka out of there. She's basically going through survivors guilt.

It'd be nice if there was any indication that Edgar's men weren't mindlessly violent zombies if they were supposed to represent a formerly stable military, but I guess it's classic Fromsoftware that everyone that isn't a named NPC is generally going to be hostile on sight.

Yeah, it was weird. But everyone mostly hates Tarnished, and maybe Edgar is nonhostile just because of how desperate he is. Considering he attacks you later and is even eating people, most people are at best hanging onto their sanity by a thread. Funny, people are saying Morgott is crazy but he seems the most sane of all the remaining demigods to me. Except maybe Malenia but she’s rotten so she doesn’t really count imo.

I think everyone just really REALLY hates Tarnished. I don't think Godrick's Tarnished hunts were uniquely his idea, just the spoils.

Man you can really tell how front loaded Stormveil and Limgrave were, just the arena for Godrick looks gorgeous and so far above any other, the animations clearly had a lot of efforts put into them, it's a showcase.
