>you can join a space megacorp

Looks like Toddkino's back on the menu, boys

Pronouns are a big part of role playing.
Low key red pilled.
What we REALLY know so far:
>it will be jank shit, as always
>it will be loaded with microtransactions
>they will likely try to make it a live service game.
>the engine will barely function at the best of times
>internet historian will make another video on the main channel over it
>they'll say theres multiple endings and branching storylines, but it'll be inconsequential really and feel very shallow.
Looks like Fallout Niggers are coping again, boys.
>it’s the biggest engine upgrade since oblivion
Will it have ladders now
>It is going to be an xbox exclusive
It doesn't need ladders
>It will be Bethesda's most hardcore RPG since Morrowind
>it’s the biggest engine upgrade since oblivion
i literally dont believe these and these are the only two relevant things that arent "see that mountain?" tier
I want you to know my sci fi itches have needs
I will not adventure in outer space unless there are strong wills, difficult decisions, and lots of drama
>What we know
You mean
>What we've been told
Which may very well all be lies.
>>It will be Bethesda's most hardcore RPG since Morrowind
yea, someone at bethesda saw the massive success they had with skyrim and said "fuck money, let's make a hardcore rpg insted".
>space pirate faction
Thieve'a Guild
>space megacorp
Hlaalu
>space cowboys
Fighter's Guild I guess? Or maybe Imperial Legion
>the lead writer is Emil Pagliarulo
babyshit. ‘
but the quest writer is that guy who wrote for far harbour, so it evens out
Emil was a decent quest designer himself. But it doesn't really matter if you have good quest design if the writing that pulls it all together is shit, Bethesda games have shit gameplay so they need good quest design and writing to be engaging.
its going to be fallout 4 except there is going to be a cell called Spaceship that takes you to other cells
its going to be funny when the engine is absolutely amazing and Yea Forums acts like it was a complete waste.
>but the quest writer is that guy who wrote for far harbour, so it evens out
so which quest-mods will get ripped off this time?
all of them
Name your sources with links
I miss the soul of gamebryo up to skyrim. everything else bethesda has made is soulless
I really really hope you're wrong.
>In my heart I think you're probably right
>What we know so far:
>It will be Bethesda's most hardcore RPG since Morrowind
When asked about this Todd talked about picking your pronouns and you still can't climb a ladder.
wow...
I can't wait for my 1int 10str 1chr 10end char to be the leader of a science faction and the leader of the space pirates and the scion of free space and the sheriff of a lowly backwater and the broker of peace between the asteroid spacers and the space junk nomads and the vanquisher of the evil faction and the recoverer of the lost 21st century media for the big museum (this title is officially Archaeologist) and of course the boyfriend to a runaway rich girl who likes to race spaceships (she gives me handmade lunches once every 24 in-game hours (Andromeda Time))
nobody should play todd's game on console
why is everyone obsessed with using a ladder
i cant wait for my character to be all this and still do radiant fetch quests for companion #2
they already doubled down on making more casual normie slop with fallout 4 and after the mixed reception there plus the disaster of fallout 76 it's understandable that they are going a different direction now.
Bethesda games don't have them so now the most imortant thing in video games are ladders therefore Bethesda is bad at games and you should not buy the ones they make. Actually it is a good thing Bethesda games aren't on the Playstation anymore. It is actually a win we won't have to play another ladderless Bethesda abortion like the real losers Xboxfags.
Because its something so simple yet Bethesda has been too lazy to implement properly in 20 years. Hell Daggerfall had no animation for climbing a latter either so really 26 years
How do we know that?
wILL IT HAVE ATTRIBUTES OR JUST SKILL POINTS AND PERK TREES/
Silly anons, when did I ever lied to you?
Pretty much, I almost want to make a bet irl if Todd will finally add DRM to one of his games, if it's ever happening this will be it and that's when Bethesda is officially 100% morally bankrupt.
based lotgh poster
Link to where Todd says these things
Gameplay? And no that 10 sec shot of a robot in some dark halls doesn't count.
buy her game
these statements are either meaningless(it's our most ambitious game yet, everyone says that) or obvious lies(hardcore rpg isn't exactly marketing speak)
(OP)
>It will be Bethesda's most hardcore RPG
Bethesda doesn't make hardcore games. They make games designed exclusively for the most casual of casual gamer
>there will be space travel
Not at all groundbreaking. Something that already exists in dozens of games
>it’s the biggest engine upgrade since
Bethesda used the same old broken NetImmerse game engine that they have been using for twenty years that has the same bugs and limitations in it for twenty years now. See that city? Oh, you want to enter it? Well, it has a wall around it. Click the main gate . See that house? Oh, you want to enter it? Click the door . Walk to the back room. Click the trapdoor in the floor . Walk around the basement. There is a hole in the wall. Walk into it . See spiders in the cave. Turn 360 and walk back into the hole . Click the ladder to climb out of the basement . Click the door to exit the house Click the gate to exit the city . Click quit to exit the game
>the lead quest designer is the same as Far Harbor
The guy writing the game is the same guy who wrote Skyrim, Fallout 4, and Fallout 76 -- the three most poorly written Bethesda games
>you can join the enemy space pirate faction
You mean, you can join factions in a Bethesda game? Groundbreaking.
>you can have a robot friend
Companions, too? Revolutionary.
>this is Todd’s longtime passion project
All of Bethesda's projects are longtime projects. Bethesda takes forever to churn out games, and still the games are dull, bug-filled, and uninspired.
>it will have Bethesda's most advanced character creation screen to date
You mean, people will get to create a non-binary gender-fluid character who identifies as a furry and whose pronouns are xhe, xhim. So progress. Much woke.
Here's what we really know - Same shitty old engine. The gameplay will be ultra casual. The story/quest will be wide as an ocean, deep as a puddle.
It's a meme because it represents how bizarre the decisions behind their development are, sure ladders aren't this game breaking deal but if they suddenly decided to add them who exactly loses with this? These games are supposed to be immersive and some people find simple things like that immersive, you don't need to jump in a GTA game 99% of the time but it's still a little entertaining thing to do and it makes sense in the context of the game, if Bethesda is so against something as simple as climbing up in interiors what else are they keeping from getting into the game either out of stubbornness or incompetence that would add some more attention to detail into the game?
>steals entire quests from mods
>steals kate beckindale's character to make weird waifu insert dlc
>doesn't steal armor designs, instead looks at toilet seat armor and think yes this'll do
It's going to be amazing
True space exploration, getting out in zero g, roaming worlds like that great feeling from Mass Effect 1 only much better.
Gonna be so comfy setting up bases on alien worlds and exploring them. I wonder if we'll get underwater zones, that'd be real great.
Just let me play already
>amazing, you gais
What are you, twelve?
If you want true space exploration and zero-g experience, join the Air Force Academy, complete officer's training, get a master's degree in engineering, train to be a pilot, fly Air Force jets for a couple of years, send in your application to be an astronaut to NASA. If you want amazing video-game space exploration on a galactic level and zero-g and planetfall and surface exploration, play Elite Dangerous.
>astronaut to NASA
Ahh sorry you have to be a black woman for that
>If you want amazing video-game space exploration on a galactic level and zero-g and planetfall and surface exploration, play Elite Dangerous.
LOL please tell me you're joking
>Elite Dangerous
You will never know what it's like to scan for high density asteroid in the rings of planets, plant explosives on the asteroid, watch it crack open and spill its ultra-rare and ultra-expensive materials, send drones to gather it all up and return it to your ship, fight off pirates on your way out of the rings, warp to another star system, be the first to discover, scan, and name the planets, reach a remote outpost and sell all your loot, buy a newer and faster and larger ship, add upgraded weapons and armor plating and drones, and buy a cargo ship and join a fleet and make planet fall to fight other factions.
But you go on and enjoy your Bethesda experience.

Todd Howard about to make all that shit obsolete.
Your hollow flight sim is just disappointing, user.

What we know so far:
>Todd is a liar
I'm cautiously optimistic. I hope it's great.
Please just let me play...

Hope we get a cool character similar to Kosh.
Tunny
I would defile Todd's daughter...
>Starfield comes out
>It's 10/10 KINO
>Todd decides to use his massive wealth to go to space like Richard Garriot
>Todd is a go getter and doesn't want to rely on SpaceX or anyone else
>Todd builts his own space ship
>"It just works"
>Todd gets in the rocket and it starts up
>Challenger Disaster 2.0
I tried watching lotgh but it was so homoerotic that it made me uncomfortable.
Hope VR is amazing, unlike Fallout 4 and Skyrim
>Rocket is a dumpsterfire just like his games
>Goes out doing what he does best
unironically based
if ur want online starquest try zombie panic source, co-op horror, free on steam
Seek help
Todd has literally never lied ever in his life
he couldn't climb the ladder to get in so he miraculously survived.
None of that matters. As long as they give the modding community their tools, and not try to put retarded restrictions on user-created content, all else is forgiven.
Don't you get bored of living like this?
Hating on one popular thing to the next surely must get boring after a while
ironically, you're the biggest faggot in this thread.
>>the lead quest designer is the same as Far Harbor
The guy isn't a complete mouth breather but come on, is this really what were using as a measure of success now?
Known factions are
>Ecliptic Mercenaries
Probably something like Dark Brotherhood
>House Va'ruun
No clue
>MAST
Military Administrative Scientific Triumvirate
>Nova Galactic
Seem to be a ship manufacturer
>Spacers
Raiders probably
>SysDef
Space Cops
>Vanguard
Some other kind of space cops
>Constellation
Space nerds who want to explore shit
>The United Colonies
Space government
>The Freestar Collective
Lolbertarian homesteaders cowboys
>Crimson Fleet
Space pirates
>Xenofresh Corporation
Drug empire
>Ryujin Industries
Megacorp
99% of these things are most likely false. After 4 and 76 it is funny to see people who are still excited for Betheshit games
