I could forgive most sins of Pokemon games, the difficulty isn't a big deal to me because I play Pokemon games to relax. Dexit didn't matter to me because I always try to use new teams. I don't even hate the new Pokemon designs, they've been "decent" since gen 5 and I haven't remembered a name since.
But what I won't forgive is how it feels like I'm watching the Pokemon anime since sun/moon. Long and boring cutscenes where everyone looks straight out of the tv show. The games were better left to their old formula, no need to push so hard to get a group of friends/rivals/stories, etc. The anime was fine being different

I thought Swsh was really fun, the issues people had with it were way overstated. Sadly it is in the fuck tarded restricted meta now. I am unhappy with the dex cut but I understand why they did it. Hopefully next game has actual battle facility, making Leon have an entire character arc of becoming battle tower manager and then you can use Zacian in it is retarded.

I think the music was fine, the problem with it is the music is associated with moments in the story that held you by the hand, fights in the game that weren't really hard or parts where you weren't really in danger of losing your progress.

I should've said missing pokemon that they would eventually add because the main point is that those pokemon weren't incompatible with the game itself for any real reason.
Something that the community would use to defend the game before those pokemon were re-added into the roster. A defense was that they needed to be cut for balance reasons but then a lot of imbalanced pokemon were pushed onto the roster completely destroying that idea another was that too many pokemon were hurting the quality of the games when in reality the game had the same quality as usual, just with less pokemon.

We all know about Dexit already which was really shitty seeing as how the reason it happened was based on a lie but staying in topic transferring Pokemon from your living dex requires Pokemon Home. Pokemon Home is a subscription based cloud service for people who don't just gen their Pokemon. Using it costs $16 a year. So that's $76 already. But hang on. There's a season pass with 2 DLC areas. The shitty thing is that the Pokemon that totally couldn't make it are included in it. Setting the precedent that GF can arbitrarily remove parts of the Dex to sell to you later. But if you want to play them it's $30. EACH! So the price of the full gen 8 Pokemon experience is $136.

I'm not against the concept of cutting the Pokedex a bit. I don't think there are more than 20 girafarig fans on the entire planet. The problem I have with the Dex cut is that it was based on a lie. The idea was that some Pokemon would be cut but in exchange the things that made it through would look a lot better. But it doesn't. For starters all of the animations are directly lifted from the 3DS. For another of the new areas look like shit. Notice how characters in Pokemon never touch one another. Any action that can't be represented through a canned animation is depicted with a fade to black and then a text box. Final Fantasy 12 was made in 2006 for the PlayStation 2. 2 full generations before the Switch. And it absolutely shits all over the Switch. I'm not saying that Pokemon to take ff12 art style but what I am saying is that there's a clear lack of effort coming from the Pokemon company in comparison to the contemporaries that surround it
