I laughed at the end of Kingdom Hearts 1 because i didn’t take the game seriously and now i feel bad about it

I'm about to start 3 and is it out of the norm to think that the story should have ended with 2? It had the perfect ending and everything after it, besides 358/2 Days, is just adding more stuff for the sake of adding more and making things even more completed

There's no story content until the end and even then some scenes were disappointing. The engine fucking sucks along with the gameplay.

I think he meant to say the letter Pluto was carrying at the end of KH1 and confused it with Kairi's bottled letter from KH2.

Point is, just because YOU dropped the series doesn't mean the series ended.

Remember that Mickey was playable in KH2. Imagine how dumb it would look to have his ears swirling around his head while the player walks in a circle. Epic Mickey did it and they had to make his ears tiny just they wouldn't noticeably clip into each other.

It probably will, the interest in the next Kingdom Hearts game seems diminished. The next Resident Evil will probably be better received than the actual announcement of Kingdom Hearts 4. And why should anyone care anymore? KH games have nothing to really offer. And seriously fuck Disney for being shit.

Are you playing on Critical? It fixes the inconsistencies and lets you fully disable attractions. Base 3 on proud was a significant downgrade.

I think KH can keep on going forever due to an autistic fanbase like Sonic games. However that said it's time in the spotlight is gone. It will never have widespread appeal and acclaim like KH1/KH2 did.

What the fuck is the appeal of this series?
Why are cartoony, silly disney characters involved with a very somber and dark(ish) storyline?
How does adding Donald Duck and fucking Goofy to your super srs anime story engaging and cool? I genuinely do not get it.
